This property is dated and way past due for an upgrade. Our room was $169 + tax per night and was more like a $75 per night room. The bathroom floor needed serious cleaning and the shower grout needed Clorox. The entry door swing lock was fastened with putty. The staff was friendly, the bed was comfy and breakfast was hot.

We were a little skeptical when we pulled up to the hotel. It's a little older than some of the newer ones along the coast. There is no elevator to the second floor so we had to carry our suitcases up ourselves. No ac but slept with the sliding glass door to the balcony open and there was a fan in the closet. The beds were amazingly comfortable so I never even woke up during the night! The free continental breakfast was delicious and filling with a variety of foods. The best part was the marina view and of the Astoria-Megler Bridge! We sat on the balcony and watched the sunset make a beautiful backdrop for lots of memorable pictures. Overall, it was a good place to stay for the price, the rooms, and the views.
