As usual, we were made welcome on arrival; even though we were later than originally planned. Loved the room and its view over the fields. Restaurant was fantastic with great meals and daily special deals. Great location for visiting the Chesterfield area and Sheffield too.

10/10 Exceptional

Myself and my Hubby booked a room very last minute. We had had our 1st child free night in almost 8yrs. The kids and both dogs stayed at my brothers for the evening, so we had booked the closest Hotel to them, has our youngest son had never stayed anywhere without us before. At the hotel we was greeted by the receptionist. She showed us around and explained how to get back in when the doors got locked. Our room was spot on. Very clean, plenty of tea and coffee, amazing views from our window. The bed and pillows were so comfortable too The bathroom was very spacious and the shower, well that was one of the best showers we'd had. Staff were very helpful and friendly, took the. All extras available on every landing, like more tea/coffee, loo rolls, ironing board and even a fan if needed. We'd both highly recommend your Hotel to friends and family, and we'd definitely stayed again for sure. So until next time TTFN.

The single room is small and basic but excellent value for money in a convenient quiet location near the M1. On-site restaurant is superb quality and value. There is also an attached sandwich bar which does a very decent low priced breakfast. Would most definitely stay again if near the area,

6/10 Good

I wish I had checked which floor our room was on because it was on the second, there was no lift and the stairs were very steep. Secondly I wish I had factored in the passing traffic noise. Sheffield Lane is very busy and even with our window firmly closed we could hear it a lot. Thirdly the wardrobe in our room was completely open, meaning any clothing we hung up was always in sight. We did not expect this, Nor did we expect to have to replenish toilet rolls ourselves. Lastly no one was there to check us out on the Monday morning of our departure. We left our room key (& out door security key) on the reception desk, with noone to say goodbye to. The best things about our stay were 1) the lovely restaurant, at which all food was delicious and the restaurant staff were lovely. and 2) The S21 cafe (there as part of the hotel complex) was also first class and a popular stopoff point for builders & workers. It really was great.

Stayed over for one night for a wedding reception at a nearby venue, as soon as we walked in the staff were so accommodating even having a hot platter done for us which was very plentiful, the rooms are really nice lovely bedding and the bath towels are huge I would not hesitate in recommending a stay here, all the staff here are some of the best we’ve come across in hotels
