Stayed in NOLA for the thanksgiving football week. The location of the hotel is incredible, with outstanding service and friendly staff.

The Pelham was a great find. It is in the perfect place to explore New Orleans just round the corner to Canal Street. The staff were helpful, room was very nice and it was next door to the perfect breakfast place, the Ruby Slipper

Friendly staff and nice ambiance. The bathrooms could use a bit more detailed cleaning attention, but other than that, comfortable room.

When we 1st arrived @ the hotel it was very cold outside. Locked doors. Weren’t let in until we produced a mask. Unfortunately they in our bags & where not exactly known. I would think that the concierge would have a paper mask 2 give 2 a customer that forgot to bring. Especially at the rate y’all are charging 4 a room! So after check in we get thirsty. I walk down 2 the desk 2 ask about refreshments. She told me there was vending by the elevators. They completely sold out! I went back 2 desk 2 tell her it was empty. & would you believe she already knew that? why would she send me there 2 find out myself? SMH. Also the security guard and her were conversing masks down in the lobby & at the same time playing “mask police” and not answering questions to guests w/ their masks pulled down. Kinda of a double standard don’t you think? So the water from sink & the ice machine was not desirable and tasted bad. So I went back down to the lobby/front desk and asked the concierge where I could go to buy some water or refreshments around the hotel. Wouldn’t answer me. I swear I’ve never stayed at hotel that didn’t offer complimentary bottles of water or at the very least have water available for purchase. Especially at $150 per night and go ahead and add $42 for parking. I proposed to my future wife last night, she said

Reviews of the hotel were mostly good, so we decided to give it a shot. Some folks talked about how the cleanliness was not up to par, a weird musty smell, or how the place felt dated. We thought the place was clean, charming, and well renovated. We loved the front desk worker Anthony who made us feel right at home and helped us pick local favorites to dine at each night. The location is an easy walk to the French quarter. We would definitely stay here again.

The room that we stayed in was very recently updated and was spacious. There were only 2 rooms on each floor on that wing. It was very quiet and comfortable. Location is very convenient to walk to many restaurants and shops.
