Great Stay
Great from check-in to check-out. I use a cane to walk, but had not asked for a handicapped room when I made our reservation. But when I entered the lobby to check in, the nice lady at the desk immediately offered me a handicap room. I was very pleased at her observation skills.

Quite disappointing
The bathroom looked very clean but smelled like urine. Overall this was more like a Motel 6 than a Days Inn. No real lobby. Checkin very slow. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Great stay and great value
This is a value property, not claiming high class luxury but the room was super clean and recently renovated and very comfortable. Microwave and bigger-than-average mini-fridge. Queen bed was very comfortable. Had two chairs (seldom found in value rooms) - a nice lounge chair and a straight-back padded chair. Great shower head in full size tub. Sink outside tub/shower/toilet room which I think is best arrangement for hotels. Breakfast had hot eggs and biscuits+gravy, muffins, yogurt, cereal, juice, and some other stuff. Much better than usual value hotels. Vivian was super friendly at check-in. Morning staff was very friendly too. I would definitely stay here again if I go through Athens AL.

The room was clean. However, I had no hot water for my morning shower ... not even warm. I don't know if their heater system is sufficient to provide hot water for multiple people that may have been showering at the same time.

Greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady at the front desk named Vivian. She made us feel very welcome from the start. She was able to answer all questions concerning the area which made us feel comfortable. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
