Stay somewhere else
The hotel was conveniently located and was clean. The front desk staff were not welcoming, I felt like an inconvenience to them, check in was late with no apology other than the fact that they had a busy weekend... . The room had a double bed which was not big enough for 2 adults and was not as described when booked. We were put in a room that was next to the lift shaft and it sounded like we were sleeping on a building site every time the lift went up and down which was a lot and prevented a decent sleep. You could hear everything that other guests were doing in the rooms above and next door which also prevented a decent nights sleep. There was nobody to assist with luggage to the room and parking was $45 a night which I wasn’t told about until I got there. One morning we came out of the room to find dog poo all down the corridor. There were no hot drinks facilities in the room, breakfast tasted good but service was bad.

Great place
Great location, staff all polite and really friendly. Our room had noise from above and they moved us straight away, no problem. The only discomfort was the plastic sheeting on the bed, causes excess heat and sweating!!!

Terrific find in the heart of NOLA
Excellent front desk service. Friendly and efficient. Hotel was well appointed - my room as the back was quiet and away from the bar area. The bar and restaurant are excellent.

Great location, style and vibe, staff let it down
Nice funky hotel, seems to a very 'in' place to be with a good vibe. Room was nicely done out, modern industrial style which I thought was great. However the room was dark as on the ground floor, one very small window so not very much natural light. Also housekeeping were pretty poor, left a random bedsheet in the room, didn't replace toiletries at all so had to ask daily. Staff were ok but as I've noticed in other hotels of this nature, tended to be a bit more interested in themselves and overall vibe of the hotel than the customer. Overall it was ok, I liked the style, vibe and location as easy to get about from but needs a polish on customer service.
