Yotel Edinburgh- excellent
Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Room design is well thought out wiyh a lot of amenities fitted in and space is optimised. The bed can move up and down from flat to sitting up at the touch of a button. There is a control to change thd colour of the lighting in the room. Hanging space and room under the bed to store luggage. There is a small fridge which is handy, an ironing board, iron and hair dryer. The bedside table pulls out to a desk and there is a folding chair incorporated. There is a key code safe in the bottom drawer. Large screen tv has a menu showing details about the hotel, weather, local area etc as well as access to a lot of channels. The shower cubicle is separate from the toilet and has a great rainfall shower and there is shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. The sink is in the room next to the wardrobe with a great mirror, especially for doing make up. There is handwash and handlotion too. The hotel is really handy and a short walk to Princes Street (10 minutes) and about 20 minutes to the Playhouse. Parking at Castle Terrace NCP is about a 10 minute walk away and you get a ticket at the hotel which gives you parking for £12 for 24 hours which is excellent in the centre of Edinburgh. You put your NCP ticket in first when you go to pay immediately followed by tge hotel ticket. My parking should have been £64 as we were there for 2 days and i paid £24. Will definitely stay here again. Great hotel and lovely staff.

Exceptional 10.0
Room was very spacious, the bed was extremely comfy and the blackout blinds were amazing! They also had LED lights around the tv and the control on the wall that you can change the lights with (you can also change the room temperature if need be). Completely recommend.

Very nice
Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Great location, very modern, clean and spacious and great value for money. We stayed (two adults and a 12 year old) in a first class family suite, and it was very impressive. Only negative we had was that when we returned from being in town for dinner at just after 10pm, we were refused entry to the hotel bar. Bar man was very abrupt and rude and refused to even allow us buy a drink to take up to our hotel room. Overall though, would recommend and will definitely be staying again...someone needs to speak to the barman on his people skills however.

Family suite
We've stayed in a family suite and it was nice and cozy. The room was very clean. The bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable. Daily housekeeping was unfortunately disabled due to coronavirus restrictions, but the staff were friendly and quick to respond to any queries. The only downside was there was no wall between the "living" area and the "bathroom" area, so there was not much privacy coming out of the shower or brushing your teeth.

Good location, terrible bed comfort.
The shower leaked in my room and the pillows might as well have been a sack of potatos as they were so uncomfortable.
