Great Value and service!!!
We had a lovely stay here! I read many reviews before we left. The people complaining about long lines are spoiled. IT IS FREE PEOPLE!!! They are probably the ones who never left any tips either. I went to D.C. with my mother and daughter. Upon arrival we were met by the lovely Erika and Mikal. They had a room ready for us because if you have Hilton honors I think that helps. You also get free wifi with HH as well. We went and dropped our bags and grabbed lunch. Our room was a 2 queen suite facing the street on the 6th floor. It was perfect we each had our own beds and my teenage daughter had her own space. Happy hour is great. Two hours of free drinks and snacks!!! I recommend sitting at the bar with Raja serving you! Tips are very appreciated and he takes good care of you. The lines can get long but again IT IS FREE. I wish I could remeber all the names of the people there, they are so friendly. Breakfast for free everyday which saves so much money and time. It is the same everyday but you dont have to eat the same thing everyday. You may have to wait for a spot to sit but they work hard to keep the tables clean and IT IS FREE..Everything was clean and well kept. My only tip would be to have one in charge of picking up room service dishes in hallway more efficently. It is close to stores restaurants and 5 blocks to the metro. Great location, value, and service!!!

Very good
My Travel Experiences
Over all the stay was great. They have a great staff from the lobby to all the way to maintenance. Very nice polite and respectful. Room was clean, except for hair in towels. Which i have not found any hotels that one do not find hair one or two in their clean towels. Breakfast was great. And afternoon complimentary snacks and drink was relaxing after a long day of walking and site seeing. Only one concern was that we had an early flight on Monday morning . Breakfast starts at 630 am. We were there at 6am me and my family of six. Four adults and two kids. Me and my wife ask one of the break fast area server if we could get some bananas and toast for us and kids. He said ok. So me , my wife and my sister started getting it when suddenly one Asian looking gentlemen came and started getting upset and started mention that breakfast starts at 630 , we know that dear been there 3 days now. He call security on us. How dumb. He did not ask any of his employees if anyone gave us permission. I guess he was trying to show off his position or something. Anyway long story short after brief word exchanges with security and staff members then apologizing to THEM for the disturbance that we cause because we ask for PERMISSION!!! Really after three good days in the hotel one idiot mess everything up. Learn to communicate and ask question before action who ever that gentleman was. Does not cost nothing to talk to us we do not look dangerous. Being important is not always import....

Miserable
We checked in at about 5:00PM and went to our room to drop stuff off, then meet family. The room had a moldy scent but we thought the room may have been shut up with no AC on for awhile. So we turned on the air and went about our business. Upon returning to our room later, the moldy scent was HORRENDOUS! My husband called the front desk and they said they had no more rooms but they would send housekeeping up to spray. A woman came up and even said how strong the scent was. She sprayed some sort of floral smelling substance all around the room that made it ok for about 5 minutes. I went down to the front desk at about 3am, EXTREMLEY NAUSIOUS. They still said they had no more rooms but maybe tomorrow afternoon. I sent my kids to my sister's room and my husband and I stayed. I did not sleep at all. That morning, my husband immediately went downstairs to demand something be done. They had a room and we moved to it. That room smelled too but not as bad as the other. I went about my day with breathing and sinus issues. If I hadn't already paid over $300 for a tour package, I would have sought out a doctor. The front desk people were polite and removed my parking fees. At that time I didn't think I would be so medically affected. Now that I am home, I need to make an appointment with my doctor because I am still having breathing/sinus issues. I do not believe I would stay at the hotel again.

Terribly disappointing.
Check in was fine. Not warm and welcoming but quick and easy. There was no mention of the pool being out of order so we went up to our room, got the kids dressed in swim suits and headed to the pool, only to be disappointed of it being closed. It would have been nice to know beforehand. There was an employee lounging in the pool room on his phone, making no attempt to explain what was going on. It was out of order for all four days of our stay. We asked about the pool at the front desk each day and the staff didn't know when it would be fixed. One front desk staff said that we could go to another Embassy Suites location to use their pool but when they called over, they said they couldn't accommodate us. One elevator was out of order and since it's such a big hotel, it really slowed things down. Not a huge deal but still an inconvenience. On the last night of our stay, the cable to the living area wasn't working. I called down to the front desk and was told that someone would be up shortly to fix the problem. We got a call back from the night manager a few minutes later saying that the technician was gone for the day and that he would issue us a $50 credit for the inconvenience. At check out I asked about the credit and was told that they couldn't issue the credit since we booked via Expedia. This all in one stay was a real bummer. This hotel came highly recommended but unfortunately it left us so disappointed. I won't be staying with Embassy Suites again.

Poor
Skyline to infection
My health has been compromised after staying at this hotel. The first night I stayed, I woke to find the heating system did not work. I woke to chills and the window of the room frosted over. I called to the front desk told them I was cold and that I did not feel well. The lady was rude and bypassed my complaint. I ask if I could order some type of food in hopes it would make me feel better, although I had free food attached to my account. She rudely told me i would need to come and get it, although she KNEW I was sick. She then cut the line abruptly. I called back again. I made another complaint about the heat and my health. I requested someone to come an fix my unit immediately, because it was affecting my health. The agent agreed and cut the line abruptly again. Because of the lack of heat on the coldest night in Atlanta in a SKYLINE VIEW room, I developed a fever, chills, and ultimately an upper respiratory infection. I had to go to the hospital, I missed time with my family, and it wasted my vacation. The worst part is that they only offered my 40.00 room service credit. hat a joke. I am so disappointed in this hotel. My health was put at risk , vacation ruined and money wasted.
