Made me homeless 1st night of my planned vacation
I booked my two rooms a year in advance on hotels.com to go to Ballon Fiesta for the 1st time for my wife's birthday. We came all the way from San Antonio, TX to check in 10/6 to 10/8/18. Upon arrival, the front desk told me I had no reservation and basically I was on my own (We even spoke with some type of supervisor to confirm) They referred me to hotels.com where I booked it. Meanwhile, I'm looking at my active reservation on hotels.com, I even showed them. But they said they couldn't do anything they are sold out and sent us on our way. With no explanation. The city was sold out for hours away, so we had to sleep in our car the 1st night and find a hotel after at rates 4 times higher rate at the worst hotel. Upon contacting hotels.com who was more helpful (barely). They told me they saw my reservation (it did exist). I asked them why Days Inn lied. They said their just sold out and didn't tell me. Even after the ordeal, I was upset and reached out to Day Inn corporate and was basically told they don't care about third party reservations and to call hotels.com and that they work with the property manager to resolve my concern. Well, it been a month and nothing I never heard from a manager. It's bad that Days INN cancel my reservation and gave my room for more money. But the lying part that my reservation never existed and they did not care or value guests the book on 3rd party websites is unacceptable.

    always a great comfortable stay
We have stayed here many times and have had a wonderful stay each and every time. The only problem with this 2 day visit was we caught a female looking in vehicles on friday night. She was wearing a black hoodie and thank goodness my hubby happened to be going out to smoke when he caught her. she took off into the quality inn parking lot next door. he jumped in his truck to go find her and when he did approach her she was scared and denied it. the funny thing was that he pointed out her hand and face print on the glass. to bad she was wearing gloves no fingerprints. my husband did let the managers know about this female and the gentleman at the desk did see the lady across the street. The next morning downstairs at breakfast time the same lady was in there eating breakfast and was feeding 2 very small children. we did have to watch our vehicles a lot more this visit which was kind of a bummer since we both have alarms but didnt want to leave anyone of them unattended while we left the hotel. Nothing happened to us or any other vehicles as we know of but days in i think needs an all night walk around security guard for this. Thank you for listening and we hope you take this into consideration since we talked to other guest and they agreed.

    Great stay over all
Just need a pet friendly place to stay overnight as we were traveling thru checked in online no choices though to pay for my pet so I had to call the office to make sure they accepted pets and they do it's a 10.00 fee which I didn't mind but had to pay separate once we got there was glad the lobby was open being that we got in so late. Breakfast was good eggs was like a omelet with cheese in the middle it was yummy didn't taste powdery like other places we stayed at before breakfast selection was great for us I didn't try the juices because I drink hot tea...My husband did not like the bed he said it was too hard and pillows to soft . I like a hard bed so I was fine didn't care for the pillows way too soft like no fluff left and zipper on the pillow cover would get caught on my hair our restroom had a hint of subst smell to it but since we unloaded our things and checked in late we didn't bother with it we just let the bathroom door closed I had some air freshener so I sprayed the room myself and went to bed in the morning it still smelled but we checked out early I did tell the front desk upon checking out he said he would check on it and that we could have called to switch rooms but like I said we got in late and we just wanted to go to bed so overall I would stay here again. The only thing I would suggest is since most hotels are pet friendly now if they can make an area to take them potty kinda like the airport has so the poo won't be everywhere just in certain sections.

Nice room, slept well and when I checked out the luggage trolley was missing so the man at the desk was kind enough to ask two maids to help me get my luggage to my RV. My only complaint was my check in. The woman at the desk said she never heard of PayPal (I used it to pay for the two nights) and she rudely insisted I give her a credit card in case she wanted to charge me for incidentals. When I questioned her, she said, "PayPal doesn't pay for incidentals." I said, "You just said you never heard of PayPal, how do you know that?" She said, "All you have to do is not trash the room, Marilyn." I felt like my stay was already ruined."

    Extremely pleasant stay.
I was concerned after I booked my room, then started reading the reviews. I found my stay to be extremely pleasant. It was convenient to everything and everywhere I needed to go, the staff was extremely pleasant, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was comfortable. I called staff regarding a blown light bulb, and maintenance was there within 20 seconds. I asked the maintenance man if they had bags for laundry, and he informed me yes, and next thing I know 20 seconds later he brought me a bag. I am a woman that was traveling alone. The last two nights I asked the desk clerk to walk me to my room as I saw something in the parking lot I was uncomfortable with. Both nights he walked me to my room. I would definitely stay at the Days Inn and Suites North on my next trip to Albuquerque.
