A total GEM in San Francisco. Gorgeous, historical building. Friendly staff offered me wine in the evening and coffee in the morning. Love the vintage decor. Save your money on the sleek Marriott’s of the world at 3x the price

A Rocky Start to Stay but Overall Good
Called the hotel a couple times before my stay and the person on the phone had a bit of an attitude. Valet parking was a little hectic. The spots in front of the hotel were almost always taken so double parking on the street ended up being the only option. No valet outside, so leaving the car and going in was a bit stressful. With those things aside, there were some things the hotel got right. A free bottle of champagne was provided on NYE. Towels were clean and the toiletries were good. Bathroom was clean and the room was comfortable.
