    OK for overnight stay

    Typical US hotel. Large room, comfy bed, good shower. Free breakfast was not very good but it was included in room rate which was average for the town. One receptionist was excellent the other we saw was not so good. You can walk into Albany safely in 15 minutes so quite convenient.

    Toilet noise

    Hotel has everything that you need. Unfortunately the two rooms we had 325 & 225 - which we were promised as very good rooms had one major flaw the toilet macerator. Everytime somebody flushed anything down the toilet the rooms violently vibrated and made the most horrendous noise. Front desk called at 1am and it stopped until around 4am when guests were getting up for their morning poo. Room 225 being affected the worse the room was swapped at 4am. Night staff were not helpful with the gentleman who visited my room acting like he had no idea of what i was on about. In fairness the room was large, clean and well appointed. Bathroom shower very powerful and hot. So if you like being kept up all night - book. If not AVOID at all costs.

    Just a one night stay between trains.

    A good hotel close to the station. Pool was a bit cold and the spa wasn’t working. Otherwise great. If coming in by train get an Uber. Taxi from the station was far more expensive.

    We only stayed one night and all was clean from what we saw. The beds were too soft for our liking and the “breakfast included” was a green banana, granola bar and water. Out of the 4 bags we got only one had a granola bar and the banana was far from ready to eat. It was a cheap stay and for providing what we needed it worked for us. Otherwise wouldn’t stay here longer than we did unless we wanted sore backs from the lack of firmness from the bed
