The staff was amazing from the time we walked in to the time we walked out they were very accommodating and very kind and smiling faces. It’s not often you go somewhere and everyone is happy and smiling. Excellent hotel, and at a great price. The pool is spotless and warm, and open until 11. Fitness center well-setup and available. Bbreakfast was among the best we have had at a motel recently. The English of some of the staff gave me a little trouble understanding, but no real problems. I don’t get to Grand Rapids a lot, but will be glad to stay here when i do.

The hotel was hard to find because it's not directly on the arterial street and not clearly visible, especially if arriving at night. In other respects, however, it's in a great location close to restaurants and shopping. The room is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a coffee maker and small refrigerator. Staff was very courteous and the breakfast room attendant kept the serving area tidy and well stocked.

Nothing spectacular it was an okay'ish stay for a night in the city, be aware this is an old property with dated bathrooms and rooms. Hallways and front lobby were clean, coffee and tea were available throughout the day. Breakfast was okay'ish, however the toaster did not work the pancake batter dispenser was broken making it very hard to get the batter out and several young kids were waiting for some one to come help. Pool was well maintained. Centrally located to shopping and other local amenities.
