The location of the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The adjacent pub was handy for a quick meal. The staff were efficient and friendly. My only criticisms concern the carpets and interior of the hotel. An updating is overdue. And the breakfast could use some more thought.

My Wife and I have stayed here many times, and we love the ambiance of the old hotel. Very historic and beautiful. Walking distance from the river and shopping. The English pub in the hotel is awesome. The rooms are small, but that's part of the charm of this old Hotel.

10/10 Exceptional

Everything was great about my stay in this charming hotel that's stayed true to its 1908 roots. If I were to fault it for anything, the parking lot is a bit small and awkward - I wouldn't want to try to park anything bigger than a 1/2ton pickup there. At the same time, I really appreciate that they have the gated parking at all, I wouldn't have stayed there if they didn't have secure parking! Also, the food at Winston's isn't the best but it's a great pub atmosphere and place to go for drinks.

Heart of downtown, next to the mall and coors event centre. Location is amazing. Building is an older character building and the rooms are really spacious. Hallways too! We really enjoyed this hotel. Small but nice continental breakfast, everything was clean, very friendly and helpful staff, plus comfy beds. The adjacent pub was pretty decent as well!

Great location, close to almost everywhere including the river shore. All staffs are really helpful and friendly. The only pity is the free breakfast seems a little too lean. Anyhow it’s definitely worth of the price you paid!!

8/10 Very good

Bed was comfortable, room was large and clean. Had free parking but was very limited. The one downside was how loud the bar and the street foot traffic noise was well past 2am. Not a huge issue but a lot of the university crowd seems to gather there on Friday nights.

3 night stay - beds are supremely comfortable. Dennis and the other front desk and clean up staff were very helpful especially because we had to early check-in. Breakfast covers the important carb food groups. Unfortunately, no microwave to heat up any leftovers you’ve ordered. Hotel is more than a century old and holds up nicely - lots of character in the building.
