Embassy Suites Flagstaff
Not to the usual Embassy Suites standard
Not the best Embassy Suites that I have stayed in. Rooms were smaller than usual and the cleanliness and general appearance was not up to the usual standard. There are better quality hotels in the area for the price.

Spot on - Fantastic Hotel
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Pleasant helpful staff, nice clientele, spotlessly clean, big room, comfortable bed, excellent room facilities and restaurants within walking distance. The freshly cooked breakfast was outstanding and after a hot 1.5 hour drive from the Grand Canyon the free beer during cocktail hour was particularly appreciated. In my opinion these guys have got everything exactly the way it should be, it's ideal for a stop-over for the Grand Canyon and I can't think of anything that could be improved upon..... oh, the tea maybe, but I'm British and I've never had a decent cup of tea anywhere in the USA ;) Stay here, you won't regret it !!!!

Very good hotel in a nice town
Had a lovely suite of rooms. All necessary amenities. Breakfast very good - hot and cold food. Clean and comfortable. Decent pool and Jacuzzi. Nice little town to look around and a good base for visiting the grand canyon south rim.

Embassy Suites Flagstaff
Nice hotel, has opportunities
I always love the breakfast options at Embassy Suites. When staying with a family, this has the potential to save quite a bit of money on the first meal of every day. This particular location had some stand out service by front desk Alex and bartender Willie. The cook to order cooks were less friendly and personable than I am used to from others in this chain and was a little disappointing. There is room for improvement to the cleanliness in the bathrooms around the baseboards, the coffee table looked like it hadn't been wiped clean in a while, and the area around the mini fridge could use some elbow grease. But the drawers, closet and vanity areas were clean. The seating and beds were comfortable and I appreciated the extra blanket that was in the closet. Overall the room was spacious and comfortable. We did love all the food options near the hotel and throughout Flagstaff in general and we enjoyed walking around the quaint downtown area and visiting some of the local shops.
