The hotel was very well situated for sightseeing. The rooms were a little noisy from room above. The staff were very friendly and helpful. At breakfast the staff struggled to keep up with replenishing the food. Would have liked tea and coffee in the room. We would stay again if they have good deals to offer.

The hotel was in the middle of everything! -a 2 minute walk from St Marks! The staff were lovely (especially in the bar) and breakfast was ok (would have been nice to have scrambled eggs rather than fried eggs) The room was quiet with a comfortable bed but the hairdryer was rubbish - it was also a bit dark and hot. My only real negative was that we were in the annex which meant we had to go to reception to get them to buzz open the door for us which was a pain especially when they were busy

We booked the hotel and I emailed them asking for a room with a view, it was my 40th birthday and I wanted it to be special. They emailed me just to say they would do their best. When I arrived at the hotel the room was so tiny and it had a wall outside the window, no view at all. I went to the reception and asked if I could have a room with a view and they only gave me one paying surcharge. My friends arriving the next day had to do the same. I believe we had paid enough money for to get a proper room so paying extra was unnecessary, regardless of how “famous” the destination is. The rooms were too warm, we had to sleep with the window open, the noise outside together with a hard mattress and pillow made the whole experience unpleasant as in the morning if we wanted to sleep a bit from 5 am we had to close the window and endure the heat. My friends even had a party going on under their window, they did a formal complaint about it but reception wasn’t helpful at all. In general, disappointing and terrible hotel experience.
