It's a Hampton Inn being remodeled into a Hyatt Select. Renovations are underway, which we did not know prior to booking. The rooms are a little dated with old carpet. Not sure when the remodel will be done. Wish we would have known before we booked. Overall, it did the job for 2 nights. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was good.

What’s good: the room was spacious, the staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable. What’s bad; breakfast was terrible, only hot sausage and waffles for hot dishes. Absolutely not as advertised. The hotel was very dirty. There was construction on upper floors, which we didn’t hear or see. But no one vacuumed the hallway forever. Our bathroom had a thick layer of dust on everything.

The breakfast for the guests was very good with a large selection from scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereals or fruit with your choice of juices, milk or coffee. Hot breakfast was extremely limited only sausage and waffles. Pool was closed, laundry room was not available to use and 1 working ice maker for the whole 5 floor hotel. Really bad smell coming from outside trash can (smelled like it hadn’t been dumped in days). Bed was comfortable, the room was clean (Had this loud humming noise coming from next door but lucky you could only really hear it in the bathroom) and the receptionist was A+. It was posted everywhere that the hotel under construction but would be nice to let travelers know this before booking. Once the renovations are done, would I stay again?!?! Yes! But until then I am sorry to say no.
