Okay Hotel By Union Square
Honestly, this hotel I felt was for people on business trips, but I did encounter some that were there for vacationing. The hotel was okay, I didn’t like how the restaurant attached to it didn’t have vegan options. I also didn’t like that the hotel only gave free food on the weekends. The coffee was alright and so was the tea. The BEST thing about my stay however was talking to the people who kept the rooms clean. I HOPE Luz gets a raise cause that lady is an angel. The amenities are okay, the gym is okay, and I like how you could refill your water bottles. My first actual day my shower was really cold, had to toughen it out, but the hotel was nice enough to put me in another.

The Marker San Francisco is a Must Stay!
The staff and facilities were amazing. From the time I checked in to the time I checked out, I felt welcome and taken care of. The only thing people should know before booking this hotel through is that the Marker San Francisco has an additional $40 resort fee that is required to be paid on checkout. The good news is it can come out of your $75 security deposit. But the free metal double insulated water bottle that they give each guest (with free water), more than makeup for the resort fee (even if you don't use everything that it comes with).

Nice little getaway spot
This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Check in was so easy and we were able to check in early. The restaurant in the hotel closes early but the bartender was very friendly and recommended a number of places where we could go after closing that were walking distance. The rooms are a bit smaller than other places we've stayed but it didn't affect our stay at all. We still had all the amenities of any other hotel. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping too. We didn't have a view of the city and that was probably our only complaint but some just don't have that. The lobby offered multiple spots to sit and hang out with huge fireplaces and cozy seating. I felt at home there. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend it. Thank you to the staff that made our baby free weekend so great.

Great hotel in great location for transportation
The hotel is located in a great location that makes it easy to walk and hop on the Trolley. Room was comfortable except for it being a bit dusty and the AC was not functioning. Staff was friendly and hotel is beautiful from the lobby.

4/10 Fair

Horrible customer service and overall poor stay
Very disappointing experience. We arrived late at night and had to change the room at midnight because the heater was broken and making a loud, non-stop rattling noise. The next day I asked for the room to be cleaned with fresh towels and toiletries. I had to ask 4 times and they still didn’t do it. The following day I complained and asked for the 5th time to clean the room, we even ran out of toilet paper as there was only one roll in the bathroom. We included breakfast in our stay and had 1 option, eggs with a side of meat and toast. Every morning, I had to ask for coffee because the container was empty. The customer service was non-existent, horrible.

Would not stay again!
The hotel looked a lot better in pictures than in person. The building lobby and lounge areas were very pretty and welcoming but the actual rooms itself were pretty underwhelming and low key scary. The whole night I heard homeless crackheads walking up and down the street from 10am to 5am. I barely slept because it sounded so scary the whole night outside and inside my room! The room itself makes a lot of small creaks and noises. I was really excited to leave the next day!

Nice union square option.
Very clean and cozy hotel. Shower water did not get hot, which was only downside. Overall a nice stay. There is a starbucks nearby and a Walgreens across the street.
