Rude manager at Bellagio
Rude manager, we arrived there at 2 am to take our reservation and they said they can not honor our two queen bed. A rude manager came, his name was "Asad" and he insulted me in front of my guests. Then the second manager came and agreed to fully refund our booking and he said I should not worry at all. He wrote his name on his card and gave it to me so we take his word and we left at 3am to go to venetian . We went and followed up with him the next day and he said again it is processed and we will get full refund. I just called hotels.com and they said Bellagio has only authorized two nights refund and they took one night as cancelation fee. I asked them to call them back and explain the situation and they did so and said the hotel would not authorize the full refund. Had they told us at the hotel that we do not get our full refund we would have stayed at Bellagio and we would not have left the hotel at 3 am in the morning after driving 6 hours from LA. So I guess they tricked us to get rid of us at the hotel at 3 am because they did not want to give us two queen bed or upgrade our room and they basically lied to us . i have 3 witnesses and the manager card and his handwriting on the card . I do not know how I can follow my case up :(

I’m leaving this review here because it seems that it’s the only way hotels will actually respond to you these days. I tried to do the instant checkout when I saw over $300 of charges on my card from the Bellagio. I stood in line for 20 minutes only to then leave since I had a flight to catch. I’ve sent emails, messages thru their site, and have called several times each time on hold for over 15 minutes because no one knows how to look at charges on my account? I have multiple charges on my card from their minibar. Which I didn’t touch. They stock the entire fridge so you have no room for your own belongings and they have even more products on the desk. We didn’t touch a single product since we warned by the front desk that they’re all on scales. I have ANOTHER charge of $288 from??? Not even sure. I know it’s not the resort fees. I know it’s not my deposit they held on to and then released to me. So what exactly am I being charged almost $300 for? This is the Bellagio. THE BELLAGIO. I am in absolute disbelief that I spent the amount of money I did to stay with here for 3 nights only to be nickel and dimed then not receive any customer service. Maybe this will get someone’s attention. DEFINITELY TRIPLE CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS WHEN CHECKING OUT.

It was nice but I'm sure there's better out there
Overall the Ballagio is a beautiful hotel. Our room was very super nice, comfortable and clean. A good word to describe the Ballagio is opulent. The food in the all you can buffet was well worth the $40. We ate at Café Bellagio. The Turkey was just delicious. The stake was good but nothing to get overly excited about. The French Onion Soup was delicious. The majority of the staff was top notch, professionals in the art of hospitality. We did have a security guard, who checked for room keys at the elevator respond to me in a rather rude manner when I explained my partner would be coming up but did not have a key. The concierge did quickly rectified the situation. The Bellagio is a high volume, high traffic resort. Expect wide through wall-to-wall masses of humanity going through the casino, waiting for the buffet, waiting to eat at café Bellagio, the disco, at the pool, outside by the fountains, in the lobby – everywhere. Expect to close to be in close proximity of lots of strangers, all the time. It’s a crowded place. Our stay at the Bellagio was super expensive. On top of our $101 per night room fee was a resort fee of about $50 plus tax. Parking was $15 per day. They took a $150 deposit per night for what I am not sure. The bottled water room was an outrageous $9 per bottle. That really bothered me. We ended up spending more money on water than beer. The Bellagio was a nice place. However, it is owned by large corporation, MGM, and that is obvious by the staff i

Way Over the Top. . .Bring Lots of Money
This review is an improvement from my prior one which I rated Bellagio on Google as Hated IT! Let's just say their was a misunderstanding with reservation and the price. What I clicked on was a Hotel/Flight Bundle that included 2 Buffets a day. The price more than doubled before we were through and I did not have my buffet deal at check in. Bellagio blamed Expedia and Expedia Blamed Bellagio but in the end I was the one caught holding the bag. In my fountain view King which I paid extra for the toilet paper holder would not stay on. The next day when I tried to dial an extension and it didn't work. Those two things were fixed minutes after they were reported. I woke up my first morning sneezing and it progressively got worse. Once tracked down, the culprit was dust balls behind the bedside table the size of ping pong balls. I reported this to the front desk and nothing was done. When they came to clean the room, I asked her to clean it and she said she would report it to her supervisor because she was not allowed to do that. It took overnight to get those dust balls cleaned. Needless to say, not what you would expect at the prices Bellagio charges. There is not coffee in the room or free in the hotel. To get that you are going to pay $5 for regular coffee. To eat. food starts at about $20, snacks included. A Crepe is $18. The best thing I had was the Hamburger at Cafe Bellagio. It is 8 ounces and I had it with the onion Rings which taste like they were freshly made.

Extra charges, no warning.
The hotel was beautiful, but there’s a lot of fees that you are not warned about. When you book, you get charged resort fees through hotels.com and again resort fees at the hotel. But nothing was offered with the fees, not even Wi-Fi, discount services, nothing. It’s a $600 room deposit. Also the minibar has pressure sensors, and if you take something out you have 60 seconds to return it or it automatically charges your room. They don’t tell you this, and the only sign to inform you is a 2 in square in the very corner inside of the refrigerator. There is no fridge for you to store anything you bring, hence the reason we took things out of the mini bar. When I discovered this happened (by them calling at 730 in the morning telling my my card was declined because they charged it an additional $895. To put it in perspective: A can of coke, $11. A 375mL of liquor $120) I thought I took care of it in the middle of our stay, but they never took the charges off of my account. It took me over an hour to check out and get everything straightened out, which almost made me miss my flight. The hotel was beautiful, the room was clean. There was just some very poor business practices going on.
