I don’t know where to begin with reviewing this fake “excellent” hotel. When we checked in, the front desk guy named Davis was very arrogant. I asked for my receipt and he said I will get it after I check out. Okay, I’ve checked in at several hotels and they always give me a receipt when I request it. This guy surely does not want to do his job. Gave our keys and brushed us off like a fly. Then I ordered food delivery from Door Dash and the delivery person couldn’t find our room. We called the front desk and Davis said he directed the delivery person to our room. On the door dash app we saw the delivery person still hovering around the office. I called the front desk again and asked if our food was left at the office and Davis said yes. However, he never had the decency to notify us. PS: When we tried to call the office on our cell phone we were ignored. He was only quick to answer when we used the room phone. And after all this, Davis never had the decency to apologize for any of his irresponsible and snooty behavior. PPS: Flagstaff, Arizona is not nearly nice enough to justify its pretentious attitude.

    Check services offered and rates!
Not happy with the price for service. Was expecting a fitness room as stated on Hotles.com. Was told that they newly renovated use to be Ramada inn. Takes time for Expedia to get info out to other websites?! Also used to be Hampton inn prior to Ramada. For newly being renovated the paint in the lobby and breakfast area pretty worn. Breakfast area very tight squeeze. Better to go out it was not very good. Eggs were burned. IHOP has special $3.99. We should have stayed next door for $30 less at Motel 6 since the only reason I booked was for fitness room and breakfast. They did call seconds after in room to see if everything ok. Room was comfortable but wish we had king bed vs 2 queens. Booked 3 wks prior for service room. They only have 2 and both occupied when we got there but we’re able to get 2 rooms next to each other on first floor. Our room had wood floor so that was good but shower had hairs and looked like a little mold in the sliding door area where water sits. Towels rough. Had soap shampoo and lotion but I couldn’t use. Must have been allergic. Hands itched and had to take clariti that night to breathe. Will not stay again. Was given one rate on web but got there and other hotel services added and was about $15 more. Was told had to go back to who I booked through. Why the hotels up the rates if NAU has any function going on. I’m talking about 3times more!!! Just double check rates and what’s offered

Great location, clean room, rude/ unhelpful staff
The hotel is perfectly located in beautiful Flagstaff with so many restaurants and stores at walking distance. The cleaning staff was SUPER FRIENDLY! Greating us at every corner. However, I have a few unfortunate negatives to highlight: 1. I tried calling the hotel many times prior to my arrival to let them know that I wouldn't arrive until way past the check-in time. With no answer. When I arrived I was told that the phones were not working... 2. Our room had water damage on the ceiling (aside from this everything was in working and clean condition) 3. We returned to our hotel from a long day out in Grand Canyon village to find that our room was not cleaned or tidied. I called the front desk and was told that people have to request for cleaning to be done in a room.. I have never heard of such a thing!! I was even told to go down and grab my own towels from the lobby! I requested to have them brought up when staff was available later that night and they failed to bring them up to our room. 3. I was double charged by the hotel. Upon me checking out I brought it to the front desks attention and they did not rectify the issue right then and there. I even called and left the manager a voice message with no reply!! I didn't even get an apology for the occurance. Anyway, I contacted hotels.com and they were so helpful in trying to provide me with a resolution. They have my case under investigation and trust that I will be refunded what was wrongfully charged by the hotel.

    Disappointed about breakfast and service
The hotel is clean. We reserved because of "hot breakfast" but after two days you don't want to eat the same! I will mention some points to be improved, in a constructive way. 1) Breakfast: no variation at all! If you stayed 4 nights you will be eaten the same every morning. No fresh fruits but canned. Breakfast finish at 9:30 but at 8:45 they stopped filling the platters but not all, they stopped filling the omelette platter before 8:37 (as I arrived at that time and the lady told me that she had served everything she had! Another day was the same history, but for yogurt, she said that there were no more and she had served all that she had, my husband complained at front desk and magically she filled the fridge (9:00am) I suggest to at least varying one or two items per day and fill the platters to insure breakfast till 9:30 to your customers. 2) Service: I've asked to fill the shampooing and have 4 towels in front desk as we were 4, they took note because I asked him, didn't ask my room number so I was pretty sure I should ask them every evening... it was like that! And they never filled the shampooing! I suggest to improve in this point, customer service is not good, remember that Good service = Happy customers = Customers back !

    Couldn't meet my tiniest expectations
Didn't expect much at the price but I do expect the basic things. It was close to midnight on arrival and 10 degrees outside with ice and snow on the ground. I paid extra for a suite but the room was standard size w 2 queen beds. I assume the microwave and mini fridge in the room made it a suite!? The front desk said to text him if we needed anything (I guess because the hotel.room phone was broken). We texted the front desk for blankets as the beds only had a lightly padded sheet. We never got a response. Luckily the heater worked well and got the room warm enough by about an an hour that blankets weren't needed and I wasn't going to walk all the way back to the front desk regarding the blankets and inquire about the suite. Overall they had the 3 D's (dirty, damaged, and/or disappeared). Some outlets and the door lock was damaged (fire hazard and security issue), the walls and doors were scratched up and dirty, and some things were not working or missing (phone for example), All of the dispensers in the shower were empty (soap, shampoo, and conditioner). The only thing I can compliment them on was the breakfast. Unfortunately I will not stay here again on my return trips to Flagstaff nor can I recommend them. This place has potential and may have been a great value some time in the past but they are in serious need of maintenance, replacement of broken items, and better customer service at the front desk and ho usekeeping.
