I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Forza Hakata. The room had an unpleasant fishy smell from the moment I walked in, which made it uncomfortable to stay. Cleanliness was clearly lacking. The carpet is already dark brown, but you can still see visible debris on it. There were numerous scuff marks and dirt stains on the walls and even on the ceiling. The vent fan was dusty, and the hallway felt dark. The only positive aspect is the location, which is convenient. Aside from that, the overall condition and upkeep of the hotel fall far below expectations. I would not stay here again.

The location was convenient for easy transport, food choices and shopping. Unfortunately, the bed was sagging and caused back discomfort. The back massager was most welcome addition as it was really needed. The leg massager was also much appreciated. Room service only included towel change and no quick vacuum. The breakfast was repetitive; and just fair. The room was a tight squeeze. The front desk personnel were very polite.

Very good hotel in an excellent location for getting around Only problem was the air conditioning which could not be controlled by us or the hotel. We suffered high humidity in the room leaving anything left out damp. The dehumidifier in the room did not work but the hotel provided a second one which did and cleared the humidity when on. Too noisy to leave on overnight though meaning dampness in the morning again. Also, the fridge froze anything left in it for anytime

Convenient location. Just minutes of walk from Hakata Station. Hotel is on the smaller scale but rooms are adequately spacious. The rooms are very clean and well kept. Good sound-proofing (hence I actually slept thru the nights without being woken up by the neighbours). Only downside is side is that the hotel doesn’t have much facilities (like a small gym).

The mattress is extremely bad, with a noticeable dip in the middle; it is sagging, and you can feel the springs. The air conditioner blows directly toward the bed and cannot be adjusted.
