The Radisson Blu Edinburgh offers a prime location in the heart of the Royal Mile, the oldest street in Edinburgh, Scotland. It lies between Edinburgh Castle at the top of the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace at the bottom. The Museum of Scotland and the famous shops of Princes Street are two blocks away. Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is seven-and-a-half miles from the hotel, while Edinburgh Waverley train station is two blocks away.

Hotel Features.
The turrets of the Radisson Blu building conceal a modern hotel. The lobby features pillars, leather chairs, and soft lighting. The concierge desk can provide insider tips on the local area.

Itchycoo Bar and Kitchen is an intimate venue for light meals and afternoon tea beneath low ceilings. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and has both à la carte and table d'hote menus. A full Scottish breakfast is served daily, for a surcharge. Cocktails, specialty coffees, and Scottish malt whiskies are available at the oak-paneled bar.

Decent hotel, room for improvement
Nice hotel, the cooked buffet breakfast was not so pleasant, everything was very bland. Having the gym only open from 6:30am was a bit annoying, though I appreciate not everyone is an early person. I’d probably try one of the other hotels if I stayed there again
