Friday night in Kew
We arrived at about 3.30 pm. the staff were helpful (situated very near Kew Gardens Station and a short walk from Kew Gardens. We went to Kew at about 6.30. we had booked dinner for ourselves for 8.30 pm. Glad we had booked as it was also 'Kew Sparkle' in the square by the station and it was very crowded. For dinner the Fish and chips were very good and the apple, plum crumble was delicious. shower fine, room quiet and the Vegetarian breakfast excellent, the staff and service in the restuarant were excellent

No lift
Nice place, excellent breakfast and friendly people. But LOTS of stairs and no lift, so best to avoid if any mobility issues.

Nice B&B, good breakfast
We enjoyed our stay. We had a drink at the bar and there is a nice atmosphere in the pub. They have a great selection of Gins if you're interested. We were only there for one night and it was fine for us. All staff seemed friendly and our room was clean. It had a kettle and tea etc which was a nice touch. We were on the top floor and it was only a small room but fine for us but if you had mobility problems then I would let them know in advance as the stairs are quite steep. The manager did offer to carry our bags which was good. The bathroom didn't have a shelf which was a bit odd as there was room above the sink for one. So our toothbrush, deodorant etc had to be put on the floor. Breakfast was good with reasonable choice of menu including full english and choice of eggs. We would certainly stay there again when next in the area.

Good 6.0
Superior double room - looking tired, could do with a little attention. Not great to be greeted with a huge humidifier in the room. Had an instruction book for an iPod dock - but no dock? Water wouldn't drain from the bath/shower. Had to ring reception and someone came to sort it out straight away which was good. Had a meal in the bar and had the nicest fish & chips i've had for ages. Breakfast was pleasant - the usual buffet - cereal, yoghurt, fruit, juice, little pastries followed by something from the cooked menu. Would stay again - perfect location for visiting Kew Gardens. Be aware there's no lift and rooms are over 3 floors.

Great hotel in a good location.
Had a great couple of days in this hotel when working in the area. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely! My room was comfortable, clean and well equiped. Only criticism was that it looked a little dated.
