Two Days Out
I wanted to see two exhibitions and also look up London friends. I am a carer so time off is precious. The hotel made me welcome and the breakfast was delicious

Underwhelmed
I stay in hotels all over the world and I have to say that this is possibly the most underwhelming stay for some time... most disappointing as we were in London for my daughters 18th Birthday celebrations. As a hotels.com Gold member I requested an early check in. The priority flag was only applied to request this upon my arrival. When we got to our room only 3 beds were made up despite the booking clearly being for 4 people. I called reception to ask that the make up the other bed after we went out as we had a show to go to.. and he sent housekeeping to our room immediately. The next morning I used the text messaging help service to seek clarification on breakfast service times... despite the response clearly stating that breakfast was until 11am we were told by the restaurant that we breakfast was closed at dead on 10.30... in fairness they did accommodate us but only when I got rather angry! I understand this is an old building but on a more general note we found the corridors very dark and narrow, and the lift is tiny.

Nice hotel, pleasant location.
Nice hotel but room quite small. Clean overall but door handles in room were dirty. Breakfast was manic with the number of guests eating in the restaurant but the staff did everything they could to ease the situation. Overall the staff were excellent, very friendly and polite.
