Poor 2.0
First, apparently, nobody pays the slightest attention to anything, we asked for an empty tea pot to be placed in our room when we first booked the room, again, on the online check-in prior to arrival, and once we physically showed up at the hotel reception, when we got to the room, no tea pot and no explanation why! Called the house keeping for the pot and ended getting tea cups, it a night manager and somebody else to show up and have a discussion about what Tea pot means!! Got it ginally. Room had no sound dampening of any sort, we could hear somebody literally drop their shoes off after 01:00am, we have been offered an upgrade, this time, shower wasn’t working properly, sink floods and the cupboard is actually in the bathroom, and the sound thing persisted, as we had the pleasure to wake up after 02:00am on the snoring from some room close by, finally we checked out and the last unpleasant thing was the receptionist checking us out, throughout this process she didn’t even bother to look at us while we were talking, rude gestures and it was obvious that she just wanted us out of her sight, very sad and very disappointing

Decent hotel but appalling customer service
We were assigned a room already occupied. It didn't take us long to realise - the case in the corner and clothes on the bed but clearly this is not only dreadful customer service but also a security risk. We met the gentleman who was occupying the room on our way out of the room as he was returning. Fortunately he was very understanding but his electronic key no longer worked so their systems are better than their staff. When we returned to the desk we didn't even get an apology - just a 'I don't why that has happened'. The situation was handled appallingly. We were assigned another room - this room had a cake addressed and with a message to someone who it seems should have been assigned that room. It was getting very late by that stage so we weren't inclined to report this in case we were moved again! The cake was left untouched. Early in the morning we had a knock on the door from a member of staff who had come to look at the noise which we had reported. We had NOT reported anything. The hotel is OK - the management is a shambles

Disappointing stay ruined wedding anniversary.
Only stayed for the one night but sadly it was a disappointing experience. The hotel was clean & we had a lovely meal at the Steak & Lobster restaurant but there were a couple of problems that spoilt the experience. Our room was tiny and I mean tiny and I was kept awake most of the night by some outdoor air conditioning units or something that made a constant noise. On walking from the bathroom to the bed I twice smashed my shin on the wooden frame of the bed due to gap between the bed and wardrobe being so small. Trying to get a taxi for our show was also a nightmare. After waiting outside for 10 minutes for one to arrive I went to reception to ask if one could be called and was informed one had been notified and was on its way. After a further 10 minutes I went back to the reception to ask if they could call again only to be told maybe the “call” button wasn’t working. So I said can you not just phone! After another 10 minutes waiting outside I was fuming, went back inside & the receptionist then came outside and found who I suppose was the concierge on a street corner somewhere who was doing god knows what. Luckily I then managed to get a passing taxi & arrived at the show 5 minutes after the start. Not the ideal way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The breakfast room service was ok at best, certainly not worth the £20 each price with a couple of items missing, the sour dough & cup for one of the Tea’s also the food was cold. Such a shame.

Disappointing
We stayed at this hotel due to its location close to Shaftesbury theatre which was just literally down the road also as I was travelling with my sister on hotels.com we had the option of double or single beds so thought that was perfect as most other hotels were all doubles when we arrived we were told there wasn't a twin available even though we had booked 5 months ago!! The room they offered us as we had booked a superior was dark small a tiny window with a brick wall inftont of it they did love us to another room after a bit of a complaining session the second room was ok but nothing spectacular & we still had a double bed. They state that although hotels.com state the single option it's never guaranteed this was not on any documentation I received and needs addressing! Breakfast was not good god wasn't topped up regularly it was greasy when you ordered something it took forever or didn't come at all I think the hotel management are to blame the staff don't have anyone who seems to manage them or observe what's going on one restaurant lady Joanna & the concierge man were lovely also Melisa the receptionist but apart from them we found most staff unfriendly & uninterested we wouldn't return which is a shame as a great location

Lovely hotel short walk away from hussle & bussle
The hotel is roughly 15 min walk away from Euston station, we were going to catch a taxi (as my mum won't use the underground) with it being so cold but the walk was pleasant and quite easy even with a couple of cases. We had early check in being a Expedia VIP+ member, hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. I had booked a twin room for my mum and I, this was a corner room on the 4th floor front facing and it was delightful. Room was comfy, spacious and modern. Lovely seating area in front of large window overlooking the street where we had breakfast each morning from the cafe next door Salt & Pepper. Def recommend the cheap and tasty breakfast sandwiches. Shower was powerful and beds were super comfy! My only niggle was that the heating took a while to increase the room temperature, had to keep pressing it but it never really rose higher than 25C even when setting it to the max of 32C. Wasn't a big issue we just took a while longer warming up from the freezing temperatures outside. Location was perfect as it was nice and quiet but you could reach the hussle and bussle in less than 10 mins. Would definitely stay here again.
