Brilliant choice for Toronto
Brilliant. Every staff member encountered was happy and smiley and genuinely wanting to help. Nice big bedrooms. Free WiFi. Gym, pool. We booked the rate with breakfast Nd was definitely worth it as breakfasts was simple but great choice and fresh. Definitely stay again.

Well located friendly hotel
We were regular guests at a nearby rival, the last time being two years ago when we came to the conclusion it was resting on its laurels. On this latest stay from the UK we decided to try out the Doubletree by Hilton and were not disappointed. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the warm chocolate chip cookies on arrival and departure were tasty, and the service throughout was excellent. Location-wise, the hotel was well placed for subway and streetcars and was in walking distance of every cuisine you could think of. Shops and attractions were nearby too. On checking out, while waiting in the lobby with our suitcases, the general manager stopped, introduced himself and asked about our stay. In particular he wanted to know if anything could be improved. My wife told him that a light inside the dark wooden wardrobe would help and he assured her that the suggestion would be raised at an upcoming room renovation meeting. He came across as a hands-on boss who had a genuine interest in the hotel's guests - just like the rest of the staff we encountered during our fortnight stay. We will definitely book there again on any future visit.
