not a hotel just a room

a worldwide traveler, this would the kindda lodging i would expect in some other country on some other continent. amenities were nonexistent, television nonfunctional, staff nonchalant! barebones room and bathroom that didn’t look clean and inviting and didn’t feel clean and appealing. if hotels.com is gonna continue to list this, the bar needs to be raised. and guests need to be treated and welcomed as Guests!

Property is very unique but old and dirty. Internet worked perfectly, but the bathroom is in bad shape. Also, there are no blinds at the windows to allow for sleep in the dark, only small curtains. Fixing those and advertising the property with us history would make it fantastic.

I usually dont leave bad reviews but this place is so unacceptable. Let’s start with the room; first of all the room is dampened and stinky. Mostly because of the small size and no ceiling-fan in bathroom which results in steam on all windows and surfaces. Even with all windows open the room becomes incredibly humid. After a whole day out to come back to a damp room is not ideal. The room and space is very dated and very stinky (likely the damp situation). The bathroom toilet is stinky and the toilet bowl was left with streak mark from previous user. Bed linen was stinky and worse of all there were 4 spiders. I woke up with 3 spiders bites. There isn’t really a front desk but we were greated in an unprofessional way. The hosts also seem to be the cooks in the kitchen and were busy with food prep, with just enough time to toss us a key. Giving us the “go figure it out yourself” vibe. Not only dont they provide you with any information when you finally ask for the wifi password it only works in the main entrance of the eating area/building which is not close to your room. This means you’ll need to leave the room, go to the next building next door which isnt far but very inconvenient. I dont like standing outside in the pouring rain after I’ve already showered just to have wifi access. Not even a basic hair dryer. Absolutely the worst experience you can get. I really wish the hotel manager would advertise the truth instead of mislead guests to book their hotel.

Det er billigt, smĂ„t og mangler det basale. Lad mig starte med det vigtigste - man fĂžlte sig ikke velkommen. Stedet har 9 rum, hvoraf vi lejede de 5. De fastboende viste mistro og stirrede pĂ„ os nĂ„r vi var i fĂŠllesomrĂ„derne. Mer om stedet: Det er et smukt sted med masser af ro. Der er et fĂŠllesomrĂ„de med borde og stole pĂ„ en stor fĂŠlles terrasse - dejligt sted hvor man kan nyde et mĂ„ltid. Da vi var der, var det aflĂ„st for gĂŠsterne i udlejedelen. Fredensborghusene har ogsĂ„ en restaurant for beboerne. Vi Ăžnskede at spise der, men fik at vide at de kun serverer for fastboende - altsĂ„ ikke de turister som bare lejer. Mer om rummene Meget smĂ„ rum - som i “Can they be any smaller?” Men, det er ok, sĂ„dan da
 puderne er til gengĂŠld kĂŠmpestore og fuldstĂŠndig ubrugelige. Der mangler stikkontakter- sĂ„ hvis man skal bruge vandkedlen skal kĂžleskabet slukkes, skal man lade telefon skal sengelampen slukkes. Der er wifi - men langsomt
 Fjernbetjeningen til tv’et manglede batterier, ingen sĂŠbe pĂ„ badet, kun en toiletrulle, blandingsbatteriet er fra 1960erne, (sikkert fredet) og der er mug i fugerne i badet (det er vel ikke en del af fredningen). Der er bestik og tallerkener for turisterne, men ikke noget kĂžkken, selv ikke noget sted man kan spise morgenmad. Konklusion: det kunne vĂŠre et godt sted hvis stedet vil tĂŠnke pĂ„ gĂŠsterne og tilrettelĂŠgge for dette - men Ăžnsker beboerne det kun for pengene, bliver det aldrig godt.

Man skal kunne hÄndtere at man hÞrer alle lyde, at der kommer meget lys ind, og at man essentielt intet privatliv har fra de andre gÊster. Prisen var god, men jeg var alligevel en anelse chokeret over vÊrelset. PÄ badevÊrelset finder man et vindue som er cirka 0,5 x 1,5m. Det er ikke tildÊkket, ej frostet, sÄ man kan se ind hvis man stÄr ude i baggÄrden, og folk er i bad. Toilettet kan i det mindste gÞres lidt privat, ved at trÊkke badeforhÊnget for. Brusehovedet var meget tilkalket og holderen var i stykker, sÄ man kunne ikke justere strÄlens retning. DÞrene ind til vÊrelserne, er helt almindelige indendÞrs vÊrelsesdÞre, hvor man har pÄsat en smÊklÄs. Selv det gamle nÞglehul var ikke tildÊkket. Hvilket er en af Ärsagerne til at alle lyde, trÊnger ind i vÊrelset. Gardinstangen pÄ vÊrelset, gÄr ikke hele vejen fra det ene vindue til det andet, og gardinerne er essentielt ikke store nok til fuldt ud at dÊkke vinduerne. SÄ der kommer meget lys ind, og hvis man ikke fÄr sat gardinerne nogenlunde, kan folk i baggÄrden glo ind.
