Best hotel in Amsterdam that we have stayed in
Only one night, but very comfortable, staff brilliant, even offered us a free bottle of water each for our walk to the railway station.... very hot day

Great service, stylish but lack of small comforts!
This hotel really is amazing. I booked a suite and the room was huge - opposite of the hoxton rep of small rooms. The lobby and check in process were great. Negatives were no bathrobes in the rooms... You had to call reception to request which I did at the same time as asking for an iron and ironing board. After 30 minutes, I was brought two irons and ironing boards by different team members, to then be told by another member of staff they actually had no bathrobes left. At £250 a night you expect some of these extra comforts as standard. Also a lack of music playing facilities in the room. An older radio with no Bluetooth, just internet radio which couldn’t access the WiFi. Aside from small niggling things that affect your time in the room, the rest of the hotel was great and being in the lobby which is so comfortable really was a highlight.

Fair 4.0
Unacceptably small room and bed. Low quality.
The room said two double beds. It was two separated single beds that cannot be placed together. Not only single bed but very uncomfortable. The room looked like a hall in a youth hostel. No wardrobe or cabinet. Poor light fixtures and low quality curtains. My kids have a nicer room and bigger beds at home. I suggest to check out other hotels. No value or comfort.

Where to sit?
Overall great experience and stay. Though images may be slightly misleading; not all the premium rooms have the sofa as shown in the photos. This was an important factor for me as I had friends visit from outside the city though there was not a sofa I’m my room once checked and one chair. Not a biggie but it would be nice to have two chairs or the sofa to allow two people in the ‘double room’ to sit down at the same time. Hard to find evidence of the ‘premium’ element to be honest.
