Stayed in the cathedral suite which is amazing, The only downside was glitches with the iPad to order room service and then no reply from restaurant (transfer by reception) to order room service. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

Excellent location and service
The location is perfect and the staff bend backwards to help you. The room was a little on the small side, however it was recently renovated and it was super quiet. The only issue is that their wiFi is very weak, kept dropping and the speed is inadequate for any professional use. We were on a holiday so that didn't matter.

Maids Head not to be missed!
Beautiful hotel. Very Covid safe and staff were lovely and very helpful. Restaurant food was very good in the evening, we didn’t use the bar but walking through it , it was the only part of the hotel that seemed a little tired! The room was extremely comfortable even though it wasn’t serviced as usual. I wanted to stay as it was mentioned in CJ Samson’s Tombland! It didn’t disappoint. It was the perfect location for walking everywhere in Norwich!

Autumn break in Norwich
Superb hotel situated in an ideal place to explore the City right next to the cathedral. The executive room was well appointed with all the facilities including a comfortable bed and excellent lighting. Lovely breakfasts. Two issues: 1. Shower control over the bath very awkward unable to control mid range shower spray without going through the overhead 2. Location near car park meant could hear all the early risers with their suitcases rolling by with excessive noise and could hear all their chatter. Woke us up both morning at 6:30 Grrr.

Would go back again!
Amazing stay overall. Perfect location. Catherine of Aragon suite wonderful with all the comforts and space we wanted as we have a baby. The bath was great and the shower was one of the nicest showers we’ve experienced in any hotel in the UK. Staff so friendly and professional. We really loved the decor and the character of the hotel and our room was really charming and felt opulent. Only only quibble we have was a better selection of teas would have been good, fresh milk in the fridge and we found some dust in various spots of the room and bathroom. All in all, we would have no hesitation in returning and enjoying another few night there!

Poor 2.0
I would like to say that despite sending several emails to the hotel about two payments that was taken out of my bank account for goods that we didn't receive one was £30 for I tab and £35 for flowers for my new wife to let her know how much she means to me. Was never refunded back to me I would say that the massive amount of debt the hotel is in the the measly £65 that was not returned wouldn't start to make up for the cancellation of our wedding stay there so no it was not a good experience and we will never go back to that nasty little place

Poor 2.0
Booked hotel to stay the night before my fiancé and I get married for 4 nights. Intention was to get ready for our wedding at this hotel, have our honeymoon here. We pre-arranged champagne, flowers, all sorts!! We were granted special circumstances because I am terminally ill. My fiancé recently had to recucitate me after suffering heart failure. I'm a regular customer, my fiance is not. Alas, upon booking a one night stay under his name using his standard visa debit card and having the audacity to turn up at the hotel both wearing casual clothing we checked out and one hour later received a phone call from the hotel stating that they had cancelled the booking we had arranged our wedding around which is the Day after tomorrow by the way, and banned us from any future stays. Never had this problem on the repeated occasions I have stayed in the past when I have turned up wearing formal clothing and presenting a platinum MasterCard. What a case of stereotyping discrimination judgemental disgusting snobby behaviour. They have denied a terminally ill woman the chance to get ready at the hotel and stay there afterwards with her fiance everywhere is booked up and they have caused me so much stressed I was admitted to hospital an hour ago with heart palpitations. Already suing for discrimination might be suing for manslaughter.

Hotel cancelled terminally ill women's honeymoon
Hello there, My fiancé has just received a phone call from your hotel stating that our booking from the 7th September to the 12th September has been cancelled as a result of causing damage to the suite we stayed in last night from smoking in the room. I apologise that my fiancé was unaware of the no smoking rule. However, when making a booking and being offered a choice of a smoking or non-smoking room; I'm sure that you can understand the confusion in relation to that matter. The booking from the 7th to the 12th of September was going to be extremely special for us. We have been granted special circumstances from Norfolk Council to get married on 10th September, because I am terminally ill with an autoimmune disease. My fiancé had to resuscitate me at the end of June when my heart stopped. This was caused by sudden onset respiratory failure, the consequence of which shortened my life expectancy substantially. This booking was not only going to be the place where we got ready on the day of our wedding, but our honeymoon combined too. I would also like to make you aware that stressed is the primary aggravating factor for an individual suffering with the autoimmune disease I suffer with; Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. not only have you ruined our wedding and our honeymoon but you have caused us great stress and extreme upset. My fiancé was also told on the phone that the staff were told we had got married on our previous day to this one. In actual fact the information that w
