6/10 Good

I booked a Superior room and I was given a room which had just been refurbished but I would not class it as Superior. It was quite small and the shower/ toilet was very cramped. The room window was very close to the extractor vents from the kitchen which was very noisy until 10pm and started at 7.30 in the morning. The room was also very hot which would be ok in the winter! The staff were helpful and gave us a larger room for the second night which was better ventilated and more comfortable.

Very central to the town, brekkie was lovely. The rooms are very tired and in need of an upgrade especially the bathrooms. We had a room right on the main road so didn't sleep great

Restaurant eas good, and service was super. The room smelled like cigar and piss, and the whole 3rd floor did not seem very clean at all.

Good budget hotel and excellent breakfast. I had a single room which was clean but the bed was tiny! Will definitely book a double next time. The room was very warm and the window painted shut so a safety issue there

It was a fit for pride room. Dates, dusty and a small single bed. But clean towels and quiet. Thankfully I wasn’t there to do more than sleep

Character hotel, needs a bit of tlc

Mix up on a couple of rooms but we sorted that ourselves. Wife and I were in the "suite" which is obviously on the top floor. Bed was comfortable, bathroom and toilet were separate and not really suitable for tall people due to the roof sloping. We were only in for one night so no real issues but upstairs could do with some tlc

2/10 Poor

Worst say in any hotel

This hotel is well below its rating room very modern if you get a new room! But if you get a Newley refurbished room your in for a treat showers done work and rooms are hotter that the sun, shower head has about 3drips and you can’t ever get even warm I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again if they said it was free!!!!!!! Simply terrible
