We stayed in room 19 on 30/11/22 the window area was cold and we could hear all noises outside with people walking in front of our window traffic and aircraft.When we have stayed before we had none of this.On the ceiling there was a cobweb of about 10 inches next to the metal grill and it was moving backwards and forwards clearly this room had not had a decent clean for ages or the cobweb would not have been that large.Cleaning the bathroom and changing the bed does not make a room 100% for the next guests.

Sub par service at 5 star prices
I stay here a few times a year, but after this experience I will not do so again. The receptionist didnt inform the shuttle driver i was waiting after calling twice, so i waited an hour and only got picked up because he had a drop off. Checked in with no direction or instruction for key for lights (never had that in any other room for 7 years of coming here). Lifts need servicing. Room was next to train and by bins so constant noise. Didnt get room clean between nights. Dirty towels left to reuse.No tea or coffee offered. Problem with booking over 2 nights had to take time out of my stay to ask for help from first receptionist who was also the one who didnt send me a driver, and the next day when i checked with new receptionist it hadnt been dealt with. Restaurant service was slow and unacceptable. I was left with previous customers dirt and mess and had to go to front desk to remind them i was there so i could have my plates cleared and next course brought (the table next to me sat down, ordered, ate and left during the time i waited between courses). I spend a lot of money here to wnsure a restful night or two before i travel. I didnt get any rest and had nothing but stress for the duration of my 2 days here. Such a disappointment. The Hilton is an older building, but at lwast the staff there are attentive to all guests and dont forget you. Dont waste your money on this 2* joint at 5* prices.
