Great reminder of uni halls of residence.
Was very reminiscent of student halls of residence, and there were lots of young people running around in the halls, with thin walls meant a disturbed night. Rooms were warm, with large windows and reminded me of halls of residence at uni, but much smaller.

Very Disappointing.
Some staff were very unhelpful and didn't appear to want to be there. Beds were very hard and extremely uncomfortable. Our "Superior" room was surprisingly small. Noisy central heating kept us awake all night. Curtains and door let in light. Noisy guests could be heard throughout the night, very little soundproofing. We booked this hotel because it had a gym and a pool. However these close at 6pm over the weekend rather than 10pm as it does in the week. This was not obvious when we booked. The buffet cooked breakfast was a huge disappointment. Most items were overdone and cold. Not a good combination. Would definitely NOT use again.

Lovely place, nice and clean super staff. The only thing that was an issue to us. Breakfast from 7-10 am. At 09.00 we were told they had run out of pastries and fruit. Very disappointed especially as wasn’t even that busy. My wife is a vegetarian so not much for her for a charged breakfast. There were a lot of dis satisfied people there.

Terrible rooms, terrible plumbing. Terrible food
I stayed 2 weeks ago prior to this visit. Last time i had no water pressure in my room, so my shower was a dribble. I reported this to reception. I was not offered a room change. This visit, they put my in the same room again. No water pressure. So I had them change my room. Fast forward to the evening when i went for a shower - no hot water. And the extraction fan was not working. Normally i wouldnt mention about the extractor fan being broken, if not for the big warning poated on your door about using the shower with the fan on and the door closed OR ELSE you will set the fire alarm off. So. I change room for the second time. This room is better but there is a constant drone outside. Some sort of generator perhaps? I could sleep through this as it was not too unbareable. The rooms are tiny and cell like, measuring around 4.8 x 2.6m. All three were clean to shoulder height above the bed, but incredibly dusty after that height. The third room has staining on the carpet. You can hear people talking (quietly) through the paper thin walls Food is overpriced and dry. And measley portion sizes.

Dirty, cramped and no water pressure
Cold water pressure non existent. Shower was a dribble and because of the lack of water, was either too hot or a dribble of cold. Mentioned to reception and they didnt offer to move my room at anything. Food was overpriced school food £16 for a dinner, with dry old looking beef anf boiled to death veggies. Went and ate out instead - £17 for a full meal with good quality food. The wall above was clean to shoulder height, but covered in dust above. I could draw lines in it. Bathroom extractor fan was thick with dust also. Room was a cramped 2.6m x 4.8m. Take out the bathroom and shower; and the room is then tiny.
