Situated on a working sheep farm in the heart of the Scottish Borders Westcote has a range of beautifully styled pods, huts, and gypsy caravans offering panoramic views of the Minto Hills, stabling facilities, hot tubs and much more! Westcote's location means nearby will find beautiful countryside, exhilarating hikes, charming pubs and historic ruins. This unit is one of our two authentic restored Gypsy Caravans. Named after the Inner Hebrides island of Islay this simple off-grid option is perfect for couples, sleeping two people in a double bed. Adorned with a variety of battery and solar-powered lighting it comes with all essentials, including crockery, kettle, teapot, tea, coffee, sugar, gas heater, fire pit and external eco-toilet. Although to make a cup of tea, scramble your Westcote hen’s eggs, or grill some sausages you will have to use our shared outdoor kitchen or your unit’s own BBQ. No excessive noise after 11 pm. Bedding (feather duvets, pillows, towels and brushed cotton sheets) available to pre-book for £10 per unit.
Dogs are welcome - £5 charge per dog, maximum 3 dogs.
The large hot tubs are £35 for exclusive use from 5pm until midnight and the small is £25. This is subject to availability, please contact directly to book.
A complimentary bottle of Prosecco is provided for guests staying three nights or more. Additional items can be purchased, for instance, extra logs, BBQ hampers, and our own hen eggs.
