When we arrived we were welcomed really well, the only problem was we misunderstood the instructions to our room, we parked the car in the on site park then wandered round the front of the hotel in front of the restaurant as instructed only to find no way in, we had to turn back to the main entrance to ask again only to find the front of the restaurant they meant was inside, there we found lifts, a big sign would help, I was told it happens daily. When we got to our room it was really nice, we booked a room with sea view, well yes you could see the sea, but it wasn,t the view we expected, but we were not there to stay in the room. Victoria was wonderful, recommend the hop on hop of tour, but take a fleece if your on the top deck of the open top deckers as you get to the open coast areas it gets cool. Easy walk to main area, listen out for the carillon chimes from the tower outside the museum with the Imax cinema, the bells do the usual chimes on the quarter hours, but on the hour after the time gongs you get a bit extra which was really nice, dont turn your recording device off too early.Lots of restaurants nearby. Lovely clean hotel, very nice staff. Sad to leave so soon really.

Very good 8.0
Nice view and a great access to the harbour side.
Nice hotel. It is clean and doesn't smell moldy or anything. They are working on the lobby and the landscaping right now. Parking is around $17 a day. I wish they were informing us about the price. I got surprised with a $55 bill at the end for the car park. Also I wish they had a jacuzzi. The is a pool though.

Great stay here - the staff is incredible, the beds super comfortable and the hotel was super clean. They were undergoing renovations, but you would never know. Great location to downtown.
