Not a very warm welcome at the front desk. The hotel room itself was nice and clean. The crown and moose pub had great live music, however the breakfast at the salt spray is really bad and overly priced so I would recommend avoiding it.

After check in we were given a room that someone was already in, then were given a room that was not the one we booked. Basically a smaller room. Then we were compensated with a free breakfast which was a train wreck. The hotel restaurant staff were completely overwhelmed, mainly due to the ongoing Covid restrictions. Management should take a walk around once and a while and support their staff. Complete train wreck.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was an overnight getaway for relaxing and shopping. Good restaurants within walking distance. Great restaurant at the hotel for breakfast. We were a little disappointed by the $5.00 parking fee for having a vehicle. This was not listed in the hotel description, and this Hotel is NOT easily accessible by any method other than a personal vehicle. The airport is currently closed in Sydney, and public transit runs sporadicly. Only other issue, is the age of the hotel is starting to show, and the Bathrooms should be overhauled.

The room we stayed in needed updating big time! Carpets were dirty looking and the bathroom was very outdated and the tub was stained. Very disappointed with the room.

Hotel overall is just fair. Room had stains on the floor, bathroom was in need of a refresh - grimy and old. There was only one ice machine in the building for approx 10 floors, no hotel amenities booklet in the room. The plug in one of the bedside lights didn't work so my phone didn't end up charging overnight. We've stayed in far nicer hotels for similar prices and would not likely book a room here again.
