Hotel St. Pierre®, a French Quarter Inns® Hotel

"Breakfast is from 7-10, milk and cookies are from 3-5" - this is what we were told when we checked in and my goodness those cookies are from heaven! The hotel reception is very high end and has a beautiful finish. Everything looked very luxurious. When you get to the part of the buildings were the rooms are, it all looks very different suddenly. Run down staircases, water build up, small pool at the back and shoddy window shutters. It all adds to the character I suppose, but once inside the room it isn't much different. Very dark and dingy. It was clean, but the room was very cramped. The bathroom was even smaller. The AC vent dripped, unfortunately it was right above the bed which was very distressing in the middle of the night. We told the hotel and they said they would address it - this did not happen whilst we stayed there. Breakfast was good, homemade everything and it was very tasty. REALLY excellent location for french quarter, music venues on frenchmen street and walking distance to the waterfront. We couldn't have asked for a better location, we felt so spoiled living right in the middle of it, but far enough to not be affected by the noisy nightlife. Staff that deserve a special thank you are Krystal and Larry who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome there. We would consider staying again, even with all the things mentioned, because the vibe was just amazing. Thank you.

Good hotel overall. Excellent communal areas and simple breakfast. Very quirky and close to the main French quarter and about a 20 minutes walk to the center and the front. Room was small and the bed was only a 3/4 size for 2. There is no safe in the room either. But as you only put your head down it’s fantastic

Very well located can walk everywhere. Great ambience in a heritage property (rather than a high rise modern facility). Good value

Totally fab stay in the French Quarter. Great location, easy walk to Frenchman, Canal and Jackson Square. Beds super comfortable, and staff supremely helpful. Couldn't have asked for more. 5th visit to NO and the best hotel we have found so far - will definitely return on our next trip.

My stay was very good. In the French quarter, so close to the action, but just about enough away from all the noise to get a good nights sleep. Beds very comfortable, nice breakfast and friendly staff. My only gripe is that the rooms were probably not as clean as I would have liked. By that I mean the items that had been left by previous guests (lip stick, socks, m&ms on the floor). But overall I would definitely recommend.
