Well located for walking into town. I was in town on business and it worked well for me. Older building but the room well presented if, in my case, a little small. Fridge and microwave but no coffee making facility. If you have a car, as I did, parking expensive, but that's true for anywhere. As the hotel is on the northern fringes of town its easy to drive to without having to deal with the heavy centre traffic. Would use this hotel again.

Excellent hotel close to the main 'events' and shops etc. Hotel staff very friendly. The hotel also had that Chicago 'charm' about it. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location
Located on magnificent mile best location near all the shops and resturants. Can walk to navy pier and the beaches. Clean hotel, big rooms and very comfy beds.

Exceptional 10.0
Judging by the floor plans, we had one of the smaller rooms but it was more than adequate. A super king size bed with plenty of choice of pillows ensured a good night’s sleep. Our outlook was poor - the side of the hotel and the backs of other buildings - but that saved us looking out onto the atrocious weather that was staying at the same time as us! Adequate tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was small but everything that was needed. Staff attitude was excellent and they dealt promptly when we had a problem with the safe by replacing it. There isn’t much in the way of public areas to sit and relax. Just the bar on the 18th floor and a very public and tiny lounge in the lobby area. I suppose that if they put a lounge on another floor, then they would lose bedroom space and income! One serious gripe, in my opinion which wasn’t rectified whilst we were there was the fire instructions on the back of the door. They were for Suite 12 on the second floor and the layout of rooms bore no resemblance to the actual room that we were in on the fifth floor. Look out Wildberrys for breakfast. Super food and staff. Worth waiting in the queues at weekend. All in all, a good small hotel and one of the cheaper ones in an expensive city.

Fantastic value and convenient location
A very convenient location for the miracle mile and just next to the Hancock Tower. Rooms were spacious but tiny bit tired (as I find are most hotels in US), clean and serviced regularly. Regretfully never had time for the Drum bar but is recommended. Paid less than GBP 100 per night for a room with two double beds and walk in shower so fantastic value. Would definitely recommend an afternoon or morning at Chicago’s Art Institute. I am not particularly cultured but was very impressed by the quality of the Art exhibited.

Fair 4.0
The room I was in was very cold. The Heat was blowing AC, and they said they’d have the engineer change the filter while we were gone. Came back to the same cold room. They did offer various rooms, which we eventually accepted, but it was still a hassle to have to move from one room to another.

We were overall pretty much satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The only thing I would suggest is maybe having a few dishes(plates, cutlery, bowls, ect) in the Room since we had a microwave & a Mini fridge. Luckily I had thought ahead & packed a few of those items; but it definitely would have been helpful/convenient to have those in the room.
