Brilliant location, nice bed, OK pool, good staff
I am so glad I chose this downtown location as it provided a brilliant starting off point for attractions (2 days with my 13 year old son in NYC). Attractive location, great local restaurants, Citi bikes and sub wait stop on street next door. Pool was a lovely tonic with a bright aspect but rather dated. Breakfast was good expensive. Lovely staff.

    Really good stay
I was a little worried about my choice of hotel after reading some reviews but so glad that I stuck to my choice as it was a fantastic experience. I travelled alone for business and was thoroughly looked after - the staff were friendly and helpful and for such a huge hotel it was exceptionally well run. Really friendly lady on the bar and also those in the restaurant at breakfast. The bed was big clean and comfortable and the room quiet. Yes there is a little wear and tear but immaculate all the same. Great location with lots to see right on your doorstep. I would 100% stay there again. The views were amazing also.

    First visit to NYC
Great location. In the hub of things but quiet enough for sleeping. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Confusing what was free in the room needed to get clarification. Crazy to look over the 9/11 memorial every day. Easy for Subways. Room could do with updating but clean and comfortable. Prices were reasonable. Breakfast on the expensive side. So we ate out.

    Poor 2.0
This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. The rooms are very tatty and grubby and the photos are not representative of the current state. We checked out on arrival and found another hotel which at 10pm meant we had to rush into another local hotel that we would not have chosen however it was clean and well maintained unlike the millennium Hilton. We had visited some years ago when it was fantastic so very disappointing. however were very helpful sorting out a refund so we could move. I would not recommend booking until it is refurbished despite the amazing views unless you are happy to be uncomfortable for the sake of a view.

Not a 4 star stay. Very poor service
I had booked this hotel due to its supposed star rating and name ‘hilton’ expecting it to be a four star in every aspect. I was given a room I didn’t request facing the river not the city and had no other choice. The service was absolutely terrible as well and the cleanliness of the room was never kept to standard by room cleaning as they would forget to replenish or exchange items daily, which we had to always chase. I had pre-arranged to have strawberries, champagne and potentially petals left in the bedroom on the day I was proposing to my now fiancé. However, this never happened and ruined the stay. I had firstly wrote the request on the booking from and called the hotel itself to confirm it was doable. On arrival I reconfirmed that it was to happen only to have nothing there on the day as well as our room not turned over properly. It wa a shambles! Their only saviour was when I spoke to their Front House Manager Heather Firth who gave us a bottle of champagne and a discounted meal at the restaurant. the following day. Not much in the way of amends. We were also not provided our breakfast vouchers which you’re supposed to receive for the full length of your stay and so had to chase around for those not to mention that every time I had to speak to someone the attitude back I received was disgusting as if it were my fault I was complaining for their error! The lifts were also out of action for 2 days! This made our stay on the 38th floor god awful.
