Good 6.0
A little drab but good location.
Good location hotel. Easy walk into town centre, harbour and the Hoe. Parking was useful and not expensive (once we found the carpark entrance!). Hotel room was clean but rather drab and tired. Hotel needs a refurb.

Very good 8.0
Very nice one night stay.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the receptionist in particular was very helpful, with a good sense of humour. The change of post code for parking should be moved to a more prominent position on the web site to avoid being directed to a no-entry road by sat nav. Also some childish boy racer types were roaring around the co-op car park right outside our window until late at night, but that is not the Hotels fault. Breakfast was very nice, buffet style, but a little strange, no tea spoons anywhere to be seen, and the cups on your table need to be taken with you to get your tea or coffee from the flasks. Staff again very helpful. Tea and coffee provided in the room.
