comfortable and great location but dated
Hotel is at a great location, has a good bar and restaurant and supermarkt nearby. The rooms are spacious enough, have AC and windows which can be opened to avoid stale air. The rooms are very dated and can use an upgrade.

Rooms are really dated
Felt the room didn't quite justify the price. Everything in the room was really dated and needed a refurb. fine for 1 night or 2, but wouldn't consider here for longer.

very mixed
Staff helpful/fine and they let us book in an hour early. They were also very helpful over breakfast as one of our group had additional needs. .. And the bed was nice and clean, comfortable. Lots of minor issues - smelled strongly of smoke when we arrived so we opened a window - then the heating went off but maintenance were pretty prompt at sorting it. The bath was really narrow and there were black spots of mould in the corners/grouting and the fittings were wonky - definitely time for an upgrade. It was a bit poor on electric sockets - we would have brought an adapter if we had thought about it. I thought they were stingy on complimentary items: no biscuits, no soap etc in the bathroom, towels were adequate but quite small. What was really striking was the state of the corridors and stairwells - very much in need of decoration, and the stairwells were grey concrete more like in a multi-storey carpark (I thought i was on staff only stairwell but never found any better) Breakfast excellent - hot food hot, well cooked and plenty of it, and lots of variety. Our party had four rooms and they were all much the same. Dont know what I should expect for about £100 in this part of London? Next time I would compare prices in the area, but great staff and breakfast would count for a lot.

pretty standard ibis - walls a bit thin - could hear the neighbours stomping about

Good hotel terrible restaurant
Hotel itself is good and the rooms are fine. They did say I had already checked in on arrival which I obviously hadn’t so that was slightly concerning but they gave me another room nonetheless. The worst part of our stay was the food in the restaurant. I ordered a cheese pizza with mushrooms and it was by far the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. I don’t even know how you can make s pizza taste so disgusting (greasy / off / tasteless). I forced down a slice of the £14 pizza and left the rest which is very rare for me. Had I not been in a rush I would have complained to the staff but as my other friends food (chicken burger / fish and chips) was also bad I got the impression that the “chef” wouldn’t of cared anyway. I mean it’s just a hotel restaurant after all...

Poor 2.0
Very small & old room, dated furniture & carpet, mattress very hard, Junkies knocked on my door twice throughout the night. Overall couldn't rest. Only positive was the staff being welcoming & cant comment on food as I didnt eat.

Not as i expected
I was looking for quiet place to stay in and i read many positive review how quiet this hotel but i was disapointed the hotel in busy area with medium traffic and lot of motocycles but its not noisy as picadilly or knights bridge it also a boring area with few unpopular resturants and i had to use metro to find good resturants for dinner the breakfast wasnt good and you have few options there is no help in carrying baggeges that normal for cheap hotel
