Satisfactory hotel and facilities conveniently located for business trip.

Restaurant information.
Booked to stay overnight after a local visit. When asked for a table booking for dinner, I was told that the restaurant was closed for afternoon tea and for dinner, permanently. Bar food was only available up to 8pm. Told by staff that the Hotel was due to close down in the near future. Had I known the restaurant was closed, I would have gone elsewhere.

Really gone downhill
The hotel has really gone downhill. Very disappointing. It used to be such an icon. Breakfast was awful, even the fruit was not ripe. No selection. The room was not cleaned properly and there was a dirty pillowslip on the floor of the room.

Nice but closing down soon
As the hotel is closing down soon the facilities have all been simplified, the breakfasts are not what they used to be and wouldn’t stay here again as will be closed in the next 6 months anyway.
