Very disappointing
Poor value overall- the hotel has focused on quantity over quality. Check in was like Stansted passport control, corridors and lifts smelt of dope and our teenage kids weren’t allowed to use the swimming pool which is over 18s only, leaving them the option of the 2 meter square toddlers pool. Seemed to be something of a party hotel. People causing a ruckus in the corridors in the early hours every night weren’t dealt with. I expected better and would look elsewhere in future.

Amazing Toronto
We stayed 3nights, we found the front desk and concierge desks very helpful and friendly. Although fairly central, we took taxis mainly to get around, to save time. However a walk to the CN Tower was doable for younger people. The hotel was impressive on the ground floor, our room, although comfortable could have done with an upgrade, likewise the hallway

Not a great hotel and far too busy
although staff are good there is always a queue at reception for check in/out etc. The hotel feels like an airport or shopping centre as is very large and busy. There isn't anywhere to sit and relax. Although the food in the market hall/kitchen is acceptable having to stand and wait at the counter for service and for it to cook is not. The beds and pillows are not particularly comfortable. The pool was warm and pleasant but the changing rooms are basic, the sauna far too hot and virtually no bubbles in the jacuzzi. Handy location for subway and exploring University district. I would not return.

Average
Huge hotel, always queues at reception. Breakfast market place like being in a supermarket cafe. Kids pool water slide shut Monday to Thursday which is pretty disappointing as one of reasons we chose this hotel was for the facility. Unable to take drinks purchased from bar to your room. The rooms we were staying in were a bit tired and the lifts are noisy. I would probably stay elsewhere if returning to Toronto

Back to the Future!
Last renovation must have been 1984! Good location though!
