Avoid this place like you've tried to avoid COVID!
Want an amazing place to stay with a great staff and standard comforts like a decent shower, climate control and good a night sleep? THIS IS NOT THE PLACE! We spent the last two nights of what was an amazing 16 day trip exploring Italy here and it was terrible. We booked three of the same room type and were all assigned different types of rooms on different floors. Our room, room 630, was the absolute worst. The room was so hot that the chocolate in my backpack melted... The hotel insisted there was nothing they could do but I was finally able to get the maintenance guy in the room to lower the temp and loan us some fans for our room. The shower is located next to the bed (privacy anyone?) and not in the actual bathroom. The rooms is located on the 6th floor directly under the rooftop bar/restaurant. Around 6:30/7am when they start setting up the restaurant and it literally sounds like you are sleeping in the dining room. Last but not least, don't count on the restaurant/bar to stay open during their normal business hours. We were told at check-in the restaurant stayed open until midnight but when I tried to order dinner at 10:40 I was told "no" by the chef. Apparently they had a busy night so he was closing early. When I went to the front desk to complain (at this point I was already very unhappy with the entire stay) the front desk guy offered to order me pizza... I had been eating pasta and pizza for 14 days and wanted something else. Hotel refused to help. AVOID!

Great Rome hotel.
What a beautiful hotel. We stayed for two nights following our Mediterranean cruise. The location was very convenient for walking to all the great Rome attractions. The rooftop restaurant and bar was beautiful for both breakfast and enjoying a cocktail to watch the sunset before going to dinner.

8/10 Very good

Convenient but a little too populated
Overall a great place to stay if you’re traveling by train. We found the hotel room to be very nice and spacious and the rooftop was an excellent place to take in the city views. The lobby always seemed crowded and a little chaotic like the hotel was trying to fit in more people than it should.

6/10 Good

Good
Smaller than expected & kind of outdated, but maybe thats just Rome. The bathroom in particular was very small. The toilet is right up against the wall so your kind of crammed in the corner while on it. The rooftop garden bar was awesome, breakfast was very good! Pasta dinner was disappointing but convenient. Location was pretty good. Staff were very nice. Overall a good experience.

8/10 Very good

Rooftop Royalty
The staff were very helpful and spoke multi languages-the hotel is beautifully appointed in a quiet location with a super roof garden restaurant/ bar/ relaxation area. Dinner was very good and breakfast buffet was ok. The room was a little on the small side for the category we booked and there were no tea/coffee making facilities at all in the room and a lack of any complimentary water in the room was disappointing- we had to buy from the restaurant on our first night. But overall we liked the hotel and enjoyed our visit and would probably stay there again.
