    Great for money. Hotel rooms getting a bit tired.

    Great stay, at a very good rate. Nice hotel, although the rooms are starting to look tired, especially the bathrooms. Can't complain for price we paid, but not what you expect from Double Tree. Disappointed by the gym and pool. Sauna not working, and had to book space due to COVID, however could not use Pool THEN gym, it was one or other, and gym session was only 45 minutes. It should be 1 hour, and should be flexible to accomodate business travellers. Felt let down by this.

    There’s no security at the entrance so your car isn’t protected. My car got broken into. I don’t understand why they don’t line the bins in the room. Booking was for a honeymoon. None of the bed decorations we requested for was done. Definitely not going back

    Lovely weekend break

    Booked here many times before, always a pleasant stay. Receptionist was very bubbly and helpful. Didn’t use the restaurant this time, as we ate out both nights. Looking forward to staying again after the pandemic, when things are more relaxed

    Lovely 2 night stay

    My husband and myself spent 2 days at this lovely hotel in a disabled room. The staff being lovely and very attentive,especially Beverley on the front desk who was so informative and helpful.Great personality and kind. My only criticism was with the disabled bath room which was a struggle being in a wheelchair.Toilet was in a corner with wash basin in front making it difficult to use. Would not be a problem if not in a wheelchair.

    I am frequent quest in this hotel and cannot complain. Rooms are clean and nice, quite place. Food are diversified every time (excepting breakfast). Staff are friendly and very helpful and would-like to highlight Dora, who is going above and beyond serving customers at reception, bar and restaurant with professionalism and kindness. Overall is good place to stay

    Dreadful Night's Sleep

    Having experienced a lovely stay at the Double Tree previously, I booked a two night's stay with confidence, however, my repeat experience was totally different to the initial one. I was put in an adjoining room with a family, who proceeded to have a party with three other families, with infants and young children, in the room next to me until 00:40 am. When repeatedly asked to tone down the noise, they responded with expletives. After I had had enough of children slamming doors and running up and down the corridor, babies crying, adults drinking, shouting and laughing loudly, I contacted reception and requested a change of room. The receptionist took 30 minutes to find a room which was opposite my original room and of very little use to me, having to get up at 6 am for work commitments... I had to personally take all my luggage to the ground floor and reception and make a point of requesting a room nowhere near the noise coming form room 226! At that point it became obvious that some of those in the room were not even hotels guests, as while waiting in reception for my new room (at 1 am) I could see families leaving the hotel. Upon drawing the attention of the reception staff to this I was told that it was impossible for them to police everyone.... Apart from being moved to a different floor, I received no compensating for the inconvenience and stress caused. A gesture of good will would have gone some way to restore my confidence in the hotel but it as not to be.

    I cannot fault our stay with the hotel. Excellent service from check in until check out. Breakfast is delish and staffs are very accommodating most especially the receptionist who assisted us during our check in.
