The room was more than adequate and having the kitchenette really made this place special. The location was superb and the laundry rooms were very helpful. The staff was friendly and quick to help you out. I would stay again if I ever find myself in this area.

Lovely hotel, very clean and quiet location. We arrived an hour earlier then check in with 2 younger children for our 1st trip to York and slightly disappointed to be charged £10 to go into our room earlier despite it being ready, we have never experienced this charge before. Our children received lovely little welcome packs which they were very happy with. The room was great and very roomy but very warm, we had to have the air conditioning on for our whole stay! Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

We actually upgraded to the Balcony room. Was a great size and felt like a little apartment. Would consider this sort of hotel in future as it’s very handy having a decent fridge and being able to make your own breakfast. Also having the little lounge area to sit in. Staff were helpful and friendly online and in person. Whole hotel looked well kept

The hotel was in an excellent position for walking into York. The reception spacious and a nice place to sit and look at the river The croissants were large, fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, the reception coffee machine broke but they did provide decent coffee in a flask dispenser. The whole hotel was very clean. The studio bedroom was spacious and had everything you would need. The showers were excellent. All staff were friendly. The only things I would have like were a pair of scissors, a coffee table and a step stool to reach the top of the cupboards!! I would defiantly recommend this hotel.
