Our special time
Was there with my wife and 6 special friends and the 3 days were amazing the bar staff were fantastic the swimming pool was great but would have liked a sauna the room was spacious and lovely views on too atrium.I must make this statement as I feel this person requires a very special mention,2 of our special friends that were due to come with us lost there sister/sister in law and called the hotel to put some champagne and fruit in our room only to be told that my wife and I had not booked into the hotel. This couple were very distressed at their loss and not being able to do this for us both as we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and my 60th birthday.Upon is receiving this information I preceded to call the hotel and spoke to receptionist sammi who whole heartedly apologised that the person who gave out this wrong information to our bereaving friends was totally wrong. When we checked in and went to our room we opened the door to our balcony and to our amazement on a table was a bottle of Prosecco and bowl of fruit this was all down to the thoughtfulness and kindness of sammi at reception she went out of her way to do this for us and we appreciated it very much she is a very special person. We will be back to the Sefton also breakfast was great with many choices

Staff were friendly. Location very good property very tired with broken fittings in room, stained carpet and cracks on wall. Pool area smelt heavily of drains. sauna and steamroom were not operational. Not a 4 star hotel

It is in a great location for shopping, eating out, next door to the theatre and cinema. Only niggle, pool didn't open until 8am, would prefer 7am, giving time before going out for the day.

Very comfortable
A great stay. There is a car park but for most of our stay it was busy. Good location. Staff were all friendly, polite and very helpful. A great range of food at breakfast with delicious kippers! Nice bar area too. The pool was out of action but an alternative offered so no complaints there.

A lack of Dining options in and around the immediate area of the hotel. One member of the reception staff was not helpful when asked about the booking office of the Gaiety theater and the opening times of the Bonzai restaurant by replying on each occasion that they were not part of the hotel. Perhaps he should do some homework. The breakfast as well as all the rest of the staff wre excelent.

Mediterranean vibes
From the outside it looks like a normal hotel, but each room has a balcony onto a massive atrium and I spent the evening sat with a beer listening to the fountain, very Mediterranean and wished I could have stayed longer, unique
