    2 1/2 star rooms 4star common area

    Once I checked in and went to my room the sheets on the bed had hair on them and the shower and sink had the same. They sent someone to change the bedding. The common area was beautiful but the rooms were old looking. The bed you can feel the springs with just the touch of your hand. Nice size tv in the room and nice light fixtures. Everything else was old.

    Can’t recommend it.

    I’m sorry to say I can’t recommend the Roslyn. I chose it because of its proximity to my friends in the area, and because I thought the “Tapestry” label implied some kind of boutique quality. But what I found was just the trappings of a boutique hotel (quirky decor, historic building) on top of what felt like Motel 6 quality. The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable, the furniture was poorly built, the bathroom was dark and dreary, and the “renovation” the front desk boasted of felt very slapdash. It wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t return.

    Dated, Worn, and NOT A HILTON PROPERTY

    I have stayed at this property many times over the past 12 years. At one time it was clean, felt fresh, and was well maintained. My last stay (Feb 2020), I decided not to stay there again due to the aged state of the Hotel and the lack of up-keep in the rooms. My recent trip visiting family I saw Hilton was now on the marquee and felt I'd give it one more try. New name, but same issues. In our room... -closet doors were broken -mold in the bathroom shower -tub did not drain -toilet overflowed (not from our use) and it took took 2 calls to get a handyman to come to the room urgently -bath towels were thin and small (I travel for work, stay at Hilton properties, and the linens were not Hilton quality). I expressed my disappointment to the Manager and the issues above. Assuming the rooms are cleaned between customer stays, these are all things that should be noticeable to the housekeeping staff. I hope they are addressed for future travelers.

    The building is dated and needs some renovations. There were signs of mold in our bathroom. The gym was closed and I heard it has been closed for years. I will not stay at that hotel again.

    The hotel is old and needs to be revamp. From the outside the hotel Looks like a nursing home. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant had one person working so the service was slow.. the room was very small and the air conditioning made a lot of noise.
