Edinburgh zoo/ birthday trip
Place was great, staff very friendly and helpful. Our only issue was the price of food and drinks which we found expensive. £10.65 for a large glass of wine in the bar we thought was excessively over priced so we ended up walking around to frankie and bennys for drinks and food. Also the guy who was on at the pool on the Sunday morning was a bit miserable and dour.

Great hotel to stay with excellent facilities and staff lovely pool. The great benefit , for me, is the easy access for both the city centre and the airport with excellent public transport via either the tram or bus.

Good points close to the airport, shower was lovely and powerful, bed was comfy quiet. Bad points the bar is ridiculously expensive. Staff at reception were both friendly and helpful. Extremely welcoming. The bar staff were fun and easy going just the type of people you want to be served by. The bar had a fun atmosphere even though it was full of suits. Just a shame about the prises if drinks!

Our experience staying at the hotel mon to wed was excellent as the staff were all professional and helpful the and food ,gym ,sauna ,steam room and pool was excellent and hygienic However I would recommend they paint and refurnish the hotel outside as the outside looks like an office block. In regards our experience on Thursday 5th april when we decided to stay in same room another ,night. We were asked if we would mind moving room due to double book, due to double booking , were told we would be given delux room With breakfast However after looking forward to stay in luxurious room as informed was top of the range, we were informed by letter through our door we did not need to move due to an other party cancelling but if still wished to move to new delux premier room or stay put we could still with free breakfast. On reading this especially myself felt annoyed, as I had packed the night before ,we informed them we still wanted to move .However,on moving to our new premises ,we were disappointed as the deluxe room decoration looked nothing different from the room we moved from ,and on entering the fold down bed on the living room / bedroom was folded out onto the living room space reminded myself as a caravan. The other room furnishings was better however both television kept switching of at different intervals. However we were pleased with coffee machine and two way bathroom suite .But were extremely disappointed at constant noice from pipes that kept us awake.
