    Excellent accommodation

Loved staying in this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and plenty of coffee, tea etc. We were lucky to get a parking space. I would definitely book this hotel again next time we visit family in the area.

    Room sizes were amazing

We only stayed one night but were very impressed with the size of both rooms that we were allocated. Although we arrived quite late in the evening we were still warmly welcomed to the hotel. The breakfast arrangements were good and the food regularly replenished.

Awesome location, comfortable bed & spacious room but it will help to pay attention to details like 2 towels for 2 guests, hand wash in bathroom …..

  • 8.0.Very good

My room was lovely and spacious with a sea view. The bed was big and comfortable. I also had a sofa and an armchair to relax in. There was a fridge in my room which I always appreciate. The bathroom was big with a shower and a bath, the towels were clean but there was a mark on the bath mat. The only thing that I wasn't pleased with was being provided with plastic cups in plastic wrapping. It is hugely wasteful and bad for our planet, glassware would have been much better. However, I was pleased that I was provided with vegan sausages at breakfast and soya milk was readily available. Overall I was very happy with my stay.

Everything was fine, apart from lift being out of order and the pool not in use.

Not as good as it used to be

Rubbish from previous guests left under the bed and behind the chair. A dog in an upstairs room was barking regularly through the day and night. Swimming pool was closed. Lift was out of order.

Stayed here several times but this time was bad!!!

We arrived at the hotel to check in and were given the room key cards, upon entering the room my wife found a wet dirty towel in the bath, biscuit on the floor, dirty unchanged bed sheets and quilt etc. The room had not been cleaned from the previous occupants!!! We went downstairs to let the reception know to be told oh sorry about that and could we go into the bar to get a drink until they sorted something, bearing in mind we were meeting friends and had a restaurant booked in which we were late for. Eventually we were told they had changed our room which had one towel and a rip in the duvet sheet which i did mention to reception incase they tried to charge me!! We paid £85 for the night and only live 10 minutes up the road but due to convenience thought it would be good to stay. Not once did they offer any small amount of money back for the inconvenience which has sadly lost my business in future and will be trying the Seaburn Hotel up the road from now on to see how their rooms etc are like.
