This was my first time staying at this hotel. With a stay in Rio prior to this one, would recommend this hotel over all the hotels I have stayed at except a few. I won’t name them but to give a quick insight. Irene stayed at Four Seasons in NYC, St. Regis Hong Kong, JW NYC, and Sofitel is a close second to these. The staff was wonderfully attentive. Look forward to coming back next year.

The space for the room was very nice, peaceful, and tranquil. The room was soundproof as well which made for a great space. Unfortunately, there was a plumbing/drainage issue with our bathroom that flooded the bathroom floor. The way the staff handled that was disappointing. The maintenance worker was outstanding but the fact that management did not offer to move us, nor have housekeeping come in and sterilize/clean the floor, nor acknowledge the inconvenience, and that we still had to pay full fare feels disappointing and is unacceptable.
