Arrived at Whites about 5 o'clock and cancelled my stay within 5 minutes. Staff apologised for the excessive noise from the crowd in the bar and beer garden. Room was freezing cold and damp - no heating. The hotel’s website boasts it is a warm, cosy and comfortable place to stay and claims boldly and loudly to be “A WARM WELCOME TO WHITES HOTEL NEWCASTLE“ This was clearly not what I found so I cancelled and asked for a refund of my booking fee. The booking was made with certain conditions about the payment being non-returnable, nevertheless, I always believe the conditions that prevail when a guest arrives to stay, eat and sleep need to be acceptable when seen. I tried to discuss a refund but got no response to emails - I sent 3 emails to each of the following addresses whitesreception@outlook.com info@barblanc.co.uk info@whiteshotel.com I did not receive any replies. Clearly the management at this hotel do not have anything but contempt for their customers. I found better (warm and quiet) alternative accommodation nearby.

White’s hotel
Disappointed, The hotel needs refurbishing throughout, The breakfast was included and should have been continual.extremely disappointing one morning the hot drinks machine was not working. My bedroom was on top of a pub/ disco which was very noisy until 11pm I wouldn’t have booked this hotel i would have known this. On the plus side the staff was lovely and very friendly
