Too loud to sleep
Great location but you can’t sleep as it is noisy!! You can hear the rubbish bins collecting bottles at 2am!!

Good 6.0
Not an enjoyable stay
The reason for the difference between high scoring individual features and my satisfaction with the stay is because I did not enjoy my 4 nights at the hotel. Two out of four nights were disturbed by the guests next to my room and on the last night I was woken up by the water dripping from the ceiling above. I did not give it a lower satisfaction score because in fairness to the hotel this can happen anywhere and it is the way the matter is dealt with that counts. The noise consisted of people on occasions talking loudly and opening and closing the door, so nothing one could complain about and the leak was clean water, possibly caused by another guest and I was promptly moved to another room. However, moving one's luggage in nightclose at 2.30 am to another floor is not fun and I would never stay at the hotel again. This should not discourage others to stay at Opera as judging by the other reviewers ( the reason why I chose Opera) they have had a happy experience. I travel a lot, alone, within Europe as well as USA/ Canada but also in Japan and China and have always been lucky not to have had serious problems in any of the hotels. I would like to confirm that my room was pleasant and comfortable, very clean and the hotel was in excellent location. My shuttle was fine, very important when travelling alone, particularly when one has experienced occasionall difficulties with taxis.
